## Description

Made from 100% New Zealand wool, the Foneso 001 XL dryer balls offer a reusable way to care for laundry in the tumble dryer. As they move among clothes, they help absorb excess moisture and reduce friction, supporting softer laundry and potentially shorter drying times.

The six-ball pack is suitable for everyday loads as well as towels, blankets, baby clothes and down garments. Use the balls again instead of relying on disposable dryer sheets or liquid fabric softener.

## Tips for day-to-day use

Add the wool balls to the dryer with your laundry and let them tumble with the load. Their natural fibres help separate items and draw out excess water, while reducing the rubbing between garments. The product is designed to help shorten drying time by up to 20–40%, so it can be useful when you regularly dry household laundry and want to make each cycle more efficient.

They can be used with a range of textiles, including everyday clothing, towels, blankets, nappies and pet clothing. For down jackets and other down-filled items, follow the garment’s care label when choosing a drying method. The reusable format also gives you an alternative to single-use dryer sheets and liquid fabric softeners, without adding synthetic fillers, dyes or plastic components to the balls.

## Why it makes sense

A dryer sheet is a disposable addition to each cycle, while these wool balls are made for repeated use. They help soften laundry naturally and can minimise static cling and wrinkles by reducing friction as clothes tumble. Want a light personal scent? Add a few drops of essential oil to a ball before use for a subtle fragrance.

The handmade New Zealand wool is described as gentle on textiles, making the balls suitable for mixed household use, from towels and everyday clothes to baby garments and delicate down textiles. The six-ball pack also gives you several reusable balls for your laundry routine, rather than a single-use product that needs replacing after each cycle. It makes sense if you want a simple, reusable alternative to conventional fabric softener or dryer sheets.
