## Description

For anyone looking to seal the joints around a bath, sink or kitchen worktop with a neat, ready-shaped strip, the Fixmend FTC0203 offers a straightforward alternative to applying loose caulk. Its self-adhesive PVC tape creates a waterproof barrier along edges and corners, while the smooth white finish helps keep the area looking tidy.

The centre crease lets the strip fold to follow a corner, and it can be cut to suit the section being sealed. That makes it useful for routine touch-ups around household fittings as well as longer runs along a wall edge.

## What matters most

This sealant strip is designed for joints around sinks, basins, baths, toilets and kitchen worktops, as well as wall corners and floor-to-wall edges. Its waterproof surface helps limit water getting into these gaps, while the smooth finish is intended to reduce stains sticking to the tape. The PVC strip is flexible, with a linear crease that can be folded through 0–90° to sit along an edge or turn neatly into a corner.

Unlike loose caulk, which has to be applied as a bead, the tape arrives in strip form and has a self-adhesive backing. Buyers often praise its straightforward application and clean appearance, feedback on how well it adheres is mixed. Careful preparation is important: clean the area and let it dry fully before fitting, then use a hairdryer to warm the strip and press it firmly into place. Smooth it with a sealing tool and allow 8–10 hours before using the sealed area.

## Fit and sizing

The pack contains three rolls, each measuring 320 cm long and 3.8 cm wide. The white colour suits common bathroom and kitchen fittings, while the flexible material can be cut to the length needed for a particular run. For a corner, position the crease along the joint and fold the strip to follow the surfaces, press it down firmly so it lies flat along the edge. These features make it practical for both short sections around a basin and longer joins beside a bath or worktop.

## Best use cases

Use the tape to finish joints around a bath, shower, toilet or sink, or to cover the meeting point between a kitchen worktop and wall. It is also listed for sealing gas-stove joints and floor-to-wall edges. For a bathroom refresh, the strip can give an existing edge a cleaner, more uniform look while helping to keep water out of the gap. In the kitchen, its waterproof, oil-resistant surface is suited to joints that need a wipeable finish. Prepare each section separately, cut the strip to fit, and take time to smooth it into corners and along the full length of the joint.

## When it makes sense

It makes sense if you want a self-adhesive strip for tidying and sealing household joints without shaping a bead of caulk. The three rolls provide tape for multiple sections, while the foldable crease helps it follow corners and edges. Choose it for practical finishing around baths, sinks, worktops and similar surfaces where a white waterproof strip suits the surrounding fittings.
