## Description

Some desk setups call for a dependable link to a high-refresh gaming monitor, others need a straightforward connection between a PC and a TV or projector. The Etseinri ET-DP-2M is a 2M DisplayPort 1.4 cable for connecting devices with standard DisplayPort ports, with support for high resolutions and refresh rates.

Its braided exterior and male-to-male connectors make it a practical fit for a permanent indoor setup, whether you are gaming, working with graphics or viewing content on a larger screen.

## Highlights

With bandwidth of up to 32.4Gbps, the cable supports 8K at 60Hz and 4K at 240Hz. That gives compatible equipment the connection needed for detailed visuals and smooth motion, useful for fast-paced games as well as high-resolution creative work. The actual display mode depends on the capabilities of the connected source and screen.

DisplayPort 1.4 support and backward compatibility with earlier DisplayPort versions help it fit into existing setups. It is designed for PCs, laptops, gaming monitors, TVs, HDTVs, projectors and graphics cards with standard DisplayPort connections. Features including HDR, MST, DSC and FEC support add flexibility for compatible equipment, while HDCP support helps with protected video playback.

The cable is bi-directional, so it can carry a signal between suitable DisplayPort devices in either direction. Its 2M length offers a useful reach for connecting a computer to a nearby monitor or positioning a screen alongside a desk. The braided outer layer is abrasion-resistant, and the cable also has gold-plated connectors, tinned copper wiring and triple-layer EMI shielding.

Buyers report good results with high-refresh displays, including 144Hz screens and 1440p monitors at 165Hz, and describe the cable as well-built. These are individual usage reports, the refresh rate available in a setup still depends on the connected devices.

## Who it’s for

This cable suits anyone connecting a DisplayPort-equipped PC or laptop to a gaming monitor, television or projector, particularly where high resolution or a high refresh rate matters. It is a focused choice for a DisplayPort-to-DisplayPort connection, rather than a cable intended to join different connector types. If your priority is a tidy, direct link between a computer and screen, its 2M length and braided finish offer a practical combination for a home office or gaming desk.

## How to use it

Connect one male DisplayPort plug to the source device and the other to a DisplayPort input on the screen. The bi-directional design allows the connection to work either way around. Select a resolution and refresh rate supported by both devices in the display settings, this is especially useful when setting up a gaming monitor or a screen used for detailed visual work. For protected video, the connected devices and content must also support the relevant HDCP features.

## Final verdict

For a DisplayPort-equipped PC, laptop or graphics card paired with a compatible screen, the Etseinri ET-DP-2M brings high-bandwidth support, a 2M reach and a durable braided exterior together in one cable. It is well suited to a gaming or graphics setup where 8K at 60Hz or 4K at 240Hz support is a useful part of the connection.
