## Description

If you need comfortable coverage for your ears and forehead during cool-weather runs, hikes or cycles, this merino wool sports headband is made for active outdoor use.

Its double-layer, low-bulk design balances warmth with breathability, helping manage sweat and excess heat while you move. The dark grey two-pack gives you two headbands for your training and outdoor kit.

Compared with choosing a fuller hat, a headband is a practical way to keep your ears covered while leaving the rest of your head less enclosed. This one is designed to sit comfortably under helmets and other headwear.

## Worth noting

The fabric combines 80% merino wool with 20% recycled polyamide. Its double-layer construction is 180 GSM, and the superfine 18.5-micron merino fibres are designed to feel smooth against the skin. Flat seams help reduce friction, while the sweat-wicking, breathable fabric supports comfort during higher-output activity.

Merino wool is naturally odour-resistant, so airing the headband between wears can often be enough before washing. The wool is sourced without mulesing. Buyers mention a comfortable fit and appreciate its lightweight feel for chilly outdoor activities, some also describe it as very thin. Its low-bulk profile is useful when you want ear coverage that sits neatly beneath a helmet or other headwear.

## Quick sizing guide

This listing is marked L/XL. The headband is designed to sit securely over the ears and forehead, with a close-fitting shape that works under helmets and headwear. It is a useful choice when you want a simple layer for the head without adding the bulk of a full hat.

## Usage tips

Wear it for running, training, trekking, hiking or cycling in cool conditions. After use, air it between outings to make the most of merino wool’s natural odour resistance. When it needs a wash, use a gentle machine cycle at a maximum of 30°C with wool detergent, and let it dry without tumble drying.

## Questions before you buy

**What activities is this headband designed for?** It is intended for active outdoor use, including running, training, trekking, hiking and cycling in cool temperatures.

**Can it be worn under a helmet?** Yes. Its low-bulk fit is designed to sit under helmets or other headwear while covering the ears and forehead.

**How should I wash it?** Machine wash on a gentle cycle at a maximum of 30°C with wool detergent. Do not tumble dry, airing between wears can help reduce how often it needs washing.

## Is it worth it?

Worth considering if you want a lightweight, merino-blend layer for active days outdoors and prefer ear coverage that fits beneath a helmet. The double-layer construction, breathable feel and two-headband pack make it a practical addition to a running, cycling or hiking kit for cooler conditions.
