Buki France Professional Studio Atelier Artiste Wooden Acrylic Painting Case with Easel

The wooden case opens into an easel, so the painting setup and its supplies can be kept together rather than assembled from separate purchases.

It is designed for acrylic painting and includes an illustrated guide, making it a self-contained starting point for learning techniques.

The easel can be positioned vertically or horizontally, with two notches for adjusting its angle. The set is intended for ages 7 and above.

Key features

This kit combines the easel with the materials needed to start painting: 18 acrylic paint tubes of 20 ml each, five glitter paint tubes, 12 brushes in assorted sizes and shapes, a wooden palette with a cup, an apron, an eraser and HB and 2B pencils. For painting surfaces, it includes two thin A4 canvases and five A4 sheets weighing 230 g. Two metal clips hold a sheet or thin canvas in place.

That range of supplies makes the case more than a paint set: it also provides drawing tools and surfaces for trying out the techniques in the colour guide. It can suit a beginner who wants to explore acrylics without choosing each component separately. The contents are specified for use with sheets and thin canvases, rather than larger or heavier painting supports.

Everyday use

Once opened, the case serves as a compact working station. The choice of vertical or horizontal positioning gives some flexibility for different painting setups, while the two notches let the user select an easel angle. After a session, the tools can be stored in the case and carried by its handle, which is useful for taking the activity to a class, workshop or holiday.

Compared with buying an easel, paints and accessories separately, this set brings the main pieces together and includes a guide. A more experienced painter with particular preferences for paint colours, brush types or canvas formats may prefer to select those items individually. The product information does not specify the exact colours of the paints, and notes that colours and contents may vary slightly.

How to use it

Set up the case as an easel in either its vertical or horizontal position, then choose one of the two notches for the working angle. Place an included A4 sheet or thin canvas against the easel and secure it with the metal clips. The palette, brushes and acrylics provide the core materials for following the illustrated guide or making an original picture, the pencils and eraser are included for drawing beforehand.

When finished, put the accessories back in the case and carry it by the handle. This straightforward pack-away format may help keep a painting activity together between sessions. The kit contains small elements and is not suitable for children under 36 months because of the choking hazard, its stated age guidance is 7 and above.

Questions before you buy

What painting surfaces are included? The set contains two thin A4 canvases and five A4 sheets weighing 230 g. Two clips are provided to secure a sheet or thin canvas.

Does it include a guide? Yes. An illustrated colour guide is included to introduce acrylic painting techniques.

Can the easel be adjusted? It can be used vertically or horizontally, with two notches to choose its angle.

Final verdict

Worth considering if you want a portable, bundled introduction to acrylic painting, with an easel, guide, paints and basic accessories ready to use together. The handle and storage case make it practical for moving the kit between home and other activities, while the included A4 surfaces give a clear indication of the format it is set up for.

Better avoided if the intended user is under 36 months, or if you need a kit specified for larger or heavier canvases. For a beginner aged 7 or above, the appeal is the convenient all-in-one format, painters who already have preferred materials may get more control by choosing their supplies individually.
