## Description

If you want a home music system that handles both a CD collection and everyday radio, the AUNA Columbia brings those sources together. It also streams audio from a phone or tablet over Bluetooth, with AUX connectivity for a wired connection. Which is more useful: having to choose one way to listen, or keeping several options in one place? Its retro-inspired design and remote control make it a practical fit for shared rooms and relaxed listening at home.

## Benefits

Play CDs, CD-Rs, CD-RWs and MP3 CDs, or tune in to FM, DAB and DAB+ radio. That range lets you move from a favourite album to a station or a streamed playlist without making a separate system the focus of your room. Station memory helps keep radio favourites to hand, while the LCD shows the time and supports a clear view of what is selected.

Bluetooth streaming gives you a wireless way to play audio from a mobile phone or tablet. For a wired source, there is a stereo AUX input, a headphone jack offers another listening connection. The remote control lets you operate the system from a short distance, handy when it is set up across the room. A USB port also supports recording music directly from radio, CD or streaming sources onto a USB device.

## What matters most

The Columbia is designed around choice rather than a single listening format. Someone who still enjoys physical albums can keep using them, while DAB/DAB+ and FM provide radio options and Bluetooth adds access to personal playlists. The programmable track order gives you a way to arrange CD listening, and the stereo system is suited to everyday music in a kitchen, living room or bedroom.

It is mains powered for use indoors, so it can stay set up as a regular home listening point. The supplied throw antenna and cable antenna connection support radio setup, while the combination of a fabric speaker cover and retro styling gives the system a distinctive place in the room. Choose this all-in-one approach when you want CD playback, radio and streaming in one unit, a system focused on only one source would suit a more specialised setup instead.

## How to use it

Place the radio where you want to listen and connect it to mains power. Set up the antenna for radio reception, then select FM, DAB or DAB+ and save stations to memory for easier access. For music from a compatible phone or tablet, use Bluetooth, for a wired source, connect through the stereo AUX input. Load a supported CD to play an album or MP3 disc, and use the remote to manage listening from a distance. To record a song, connect a USB device and record from radio, CD or streaming.

## What to clarify

**Which discs can it play?** It supports CD, CD-R, CD-RW and MP3 CD formats, so it can play standard albums as well as compatible recordable and MP3 discs.

**Can it play music from a phone?** Yes. Bluetooth supports wireless streaming from a phone or tablet, and the stereo AUX input provides a wired alternative.

**Can music be recorded to USB?** Yes. Music from radio, CD and streaming can be recorded directly onto a USB device through the system’s USB function.

## Should you buy it?

The AUNA Columbia is a useful choice for a home listening space where radio, CDs and phone streaming all have a place. Its mix of DAB/DAB+ and FM reception, supported disc formats, Bluetooth, AUX and USB recording gives you several ways to enjoy and organise music from one mains-powered system. It suits listeners who want their existing CDs to remain part of daily listening while making room for digital radio and streaming.
