## Description

The weighted beanbag base gives your GPS or mobile phone a dashboard mounting option without a windscreen suction cup. Its non-slip underside helps keep the holder in place, while the spring clip supports a range of devices. Need to move it between cars? The removable design makes that straightforward.

## Key specifications
- Name: APPS2Car FBA_GPS01 GPS and phone dashboard mount
- Type: Removable beanbag friction mount
- Colour: Black
- Material: Plastic
- Mounting: Dashboard
- Adjustment: Five slots for different viewing angles

The friction base is a practical alternative to a suction-cup windscreen mount, particularly when you want the device on the dashboard and the air vent and CD slot left clear. There are no tools to fit: place the holder on a flat dashboard surface and use the spring clip to secure your device. Its removable design also makes it easy to take out of the car or transfer to another vehicle. The underside’s gel block can be cleaned with water.

## Compatibility & requirements
The holder is designed for most GPS devices and mobile phones with a screen size of 3–6 inches. Listed compatible devices include Garmin Nuvi models, iPhones and many Samsung Galaxy and Google Pixel phones. It also suits other smartphones in the stated size range, giving you one mount to use for navigation or phone viewing. It is not compatible with tablets, iPads, flip phones or portable CarPlay devices. For stability, position it on a flat dashboard surface.

## Usage tips
Set the beanbag mount on a flat section of the dashboard, then place your GPS or phone in the spring clip. Use one of the five slots to choose a viewing angle that works for your seated position. For example, it can hold a phone for navigation on a familiar daily route, then be lifted out when you leave the car. The non-slip underside and weighted body are designed to keep the holder settled on the dashboard, while the removable base avoids a permanent installation. Customers often praise its stability and say it works with a range of devices, including iPhones and GPS units, these are buyer impressions rather than a guarantee for every vehicle or device.

## Practical questions
**Does it need tools or a permanent fitting?** No. Place the holder on a flat dashboard surface and secure the device with the spring clip, the mount is removable.

**Can I change the viewing angle?** Yes. The holder has five slots so you can adjust the device to different angles.

**How do I clean the underside?** The gel block beneath the mount is removable and can be cleaned with water.

## Is it worth it?
For drivers who want a portable dashboard holder rather than a windscreen suction-cup mount, the APPS2Car combines a weighted friction base with a spring clip and adjustable viewing positions. Its broad stated compatibility makes it useful for switching between a suitable GPS and mobile phone, while the removable design is handy when sharing the car or changing vehicles. Choose it for a simple, tool-free way to keep a compatible device on the dashboard for navigation.
