Best use cases
For a wedding or celebration table, the long length creates a soft base for flowers, candles and other table decorations. It also suits birthday parties, baby showers, christenings, anniversaries and seasonal gatherings, adding colour and texture without taking attention away from the table setting. For a kitchen table, it offers a simple way to introduce a decorative centre line, for a larger event, its length helps carry the same look along a banquet table.
The gauze-style fabric can also be shaped for other decorative uses, including a photo backdrop, chair cover or archway. This makes it useful when a coordinated look is needed across a table and its surrounding space. If you are choosing between a small accent for everyday dining and a longer piece for a gathering, this size is particularly suited to creating a more continuous display. Its flexible fabric can be folded or cut to adapt the arrangement.
Usage tips
Lay the runner along the centre of the table and arrange place settings or decorations around it. For a softer, gathered effect, fold or drape the fabric, trim it when a shorter length or a different shape better suits the display. Keep any cutting aligned with your intended layout, especially if you plan to reuse the full length for another occasion.
To care for the runner, hand wash it in cold water with mild detergent and air dry. Its pleated texture does not require ironing. Avoid bleach and dry cleaning to maintain the fabric’s look, and store it once dry so it is ready for another event.
How can it be arranged on different tables? The runner is suitable for round and rectangular tables. Its flexible gauze-style fabric can be folded or cut to suit the layout and desired length.
Can it be used for decorations beyond the table? Yes. It can also be used as a photo backdrop, chair cover or archway decoration, making it adaptable for event styling.
How should it be cleaned? Hand wash in cold water with mild detergent, then air dry. Ironing is not needed, bleach and dry cleaning are not recommended.
