## Description

For parents looking to protect a child’s bed during potty training, the Aolso washable bed underlay provides a dedicated layer for overnight use. Its 70 x 90 cm size and 2 cm thickness give it a substantial mattress-pad format, while the cotton surface is described as breathable and the pad as waterproof.

Place it on a child’s bed, cot or single bed to help protect the mattress without having to clean the whole bed after a wet night. It can also be used for naps and sleepovers.

## The essentials

This Aolso potty training mattress combines a cotton surface with an absorbent, waterproof design. The 70 x 90 cm format is intended for children’s beds and cots, and can also be used on a single bed. At 2 cm thick, it is a bed underlay rather than a thin sheet, giving children a defined layer to sleep on during night-time training.

The practical benefit is that the pad can be removed for washing, helping keep routine bed care manageable. Instead of treating the whole mattress after an accident, you can take off the underlay and machine-wash it. That makes it useful for regular bedtime use as well as occasional naps or overnight stays.

Buyer feedback often highlights the pad’s practicality and washability. Views on water resistance and absorbency are mixed: some buyers say it keeps wetness from reaching the sheets, while others are less satisfied with its protection. This is useful context when choosing between a washable underlay and a full mattress protector: the Aolso pad offers a removable layer focused on everyday training routines.

## Care & maintenance

The pad is machine washable, so it can be cleaned as part of the usual bedding routine and put back into use after washing. Buyers also mention that it dries quickly, though drying time can vary with washing and drying conditions. Keeping a washable underlay on the bed means there is a separate layer to remove and clean when needed, rather than having to deal with the mattress itself.

## Best use cases

For night-time potty training, lay the underlay on the child’s bed before sleep to create a dedicated protective layer between the child and the mattress. Its 70 x 90 cm size is also suited to naps and sleepovers, when a removable, washable layer can make bed changes simpler. The cotton surface and breathable design support use as part of a child’s regular bedding, while the waterproof construction is intended to help protect the mattress below.

It can also serve as a practical alternative to relying on a larger mattress protector for every short rest or overnight stay. A separate pad is easier to lift off and wash, making it convenient when the need is to protect one sleeping area rather than cover the entire mattress.

## When it makes sense

It’s a good fit if you want a washable bed underlay for a child’s night-time toilet-training routine, or a removable layer for naps and sleepovers. The combination of a cotton surface, 70 x 90 cm size and machine-washable construction makes it straightforward to add to a child’s bedding and clean as part of normal laundry. Choose it for the convenience of a dedicated pad that can be lifted off the bed, rather than a cover that needs to remain fitted over the whole mattress.
