Amazon Basics DS-3LRP Long Reach Pliers Set, 3-Piece Alloy Steel

At 32.2 cm long and 7.9 cm wide, the amazon Basics DS-3LRP set is designed to reach into narrow spaces where standard pliers can be awkward to position. Its three different nose angles give you more choice when access is restricted.

Use the straight, 45-degree or 90-degree pliers to grip small pieces, bend items or work around obstacles. The extra length also helps keep your hands further from hot surfaces and sharp edges while you work.

Alloy steel construction and plastic-dipped ergonomic handles make this a practical set for a home garage, workshop or tool box. Choose the varied angles when a single straight long-nose tool would not give you the access you need.

Tips for day-to-day use

Select the angle that gives you the clearest approach to the workpiece: the straight pliers are suited to direct access, while the angled versions can help when a surrounding part or surface gets in the way. This makes the set useful for reaching small components in a home garage, handling awkward jobs around a sink or keeping in a carpenter’s tool box. It is also intended for use in professional auto body shops and on construction sites.

The long reach can be helpful when retrieving or holding small pieces in a confined area. Position the jaws securely before gripping or bending, and use the extra distance from hot surfaces or sharp edges as a practical advantage while working. Buyers often praise the length, access and sturdy feel, feedback on grip is mixed, and some report concerns about rust resistance. Store the pliers dry as part of normal tool care.

Included in the pack

The set contains three long-reach pliers: one straight pair of needle-nose pliers, one with a 45-degree angle and one with a 90-degree angle. Having all three shapes together lets you choose a tool to suit the direction of access, rather than relying on one jaw position for every task.
