## Description

## Strengths

At 100 x 44 cm, this peel-and-stick chalkboard adds a generous writing and magnetic surface to a smooth wall, door or other flat area. Its matte finish keeps the look of a traditional chalkboard, while the soft iron material attracts small magnetic items. Choose it when you want a fixed creative space for notes, drawing or display, a freestanding easel may suit a room where the board needs to move instead.

The adhesive backing makes it possible to create a board without installing a framed fixture. Use it in a playroom for children’s drawings and magnetic pieces, or in a classroom for a shared activity surface. It can also turn the back of a door into a place to display travel photos. The four-layer construction is designed for repeated wiping with a damp cloth, so the surface can be refreshed for the next activity.

Buyer feedback often points to its appeal for children, its decorative look and an installation process customers found easy. Experiences with adhesion and magnetic strength are mixed, so use small magnetic items suited to the board’s surface rather than assuming every magnet will hold. This balance of writing space and magnetic display makes it different from a standard chalkboard decal, which offers a writing surface without the added magnetic function.

## What matters most

The board measures 100 x 44 cm and is made from polypropylene (PP), with a matte chalkboard-style surface and adhesive mounting. Its horizontal or vertical orientation gives you flexibility when choosing a spot. The magnetic surface is intended for small magnetic items, making the board useful for combining written reminders with children’s pictures, puzzles or other lightweight displays.

For the best application, choose a smooth, flat, non-textured surface. The adhesive is strong, if applying it to latex-painted walls or wallpaper, select the location carefully before installation. Because of the decal’s size, the manufacturer recommends having two people apply it slowly together. Read the product manual before starting, and take care to keep the sheet aligned as you work across the surface.

## Care tips

The matte surface can be wiped clean repeatedly with a damp cloth. Allow the area to dry before using it again. This simple routine suits a shared play or classroom space where drawings and notes change often, and also helps keep the board ready for its next display. The surface is listed as wet-erase, giving you another practical way to use it as a changeable writing board.

## Before you decide

**What kind of surface should I apply it to?** Choose a smooth, flat, non-textured surface for installation. If the wall is latex-painted or covered with wallpaper, decide on the placement carefully because the backing uses strong adhesive.

**Can it hold magnets as well as provide a writing surface?** Yes. The board includes a magnetic surface made with soft iron material to attract small magnetic items. Buyer experiences with magnetic strength vary, so the feedback does not suggest that every type of magnet will hold equally well.

**How should I clean the board?** Wipe it with a damp cloth. The four-layer surface is designed to be wiped repeatedly, making it practical for changing drawings, notes and displays.

## Buying verdict

For a playroom, classroom or home activity area, this YOUNGJQ wall decal brings writing and small-magnet display together in one 100 x 44 cm surface. It’s a useful way to make a smooth, flat spot serve more than one purpose, from children’s creative activities to everyday notes and photo displays.
