## Description

Serrated plastic knives let young children help cut soft foods such as fruit, vegetables, cheese and bread, turning everyday meal prep into a hands-on activity. The green Yasterd KC001 Montessori kitchen set pairs child-sized tools with a storage box, so children can take part in snack preparation and keep the pieces together afterwards.

It’s designed for supervised kitchen learning, with blunt-tip knives and handles made for small hands. The set is recommended for ages 36 months to 8 years.

## Who it’s for
This set is suited to families who want children to join in with simple food preparation using tools intended for young cooks. The different knives and sandwich cutters offer options for preparing soft ingredients and shaping sandwiches, while the peeler and cutting boards add practical steps to a kitchen activity. It also supports role play alongside real, supervised meal prep, giving children a way to practise dexterity, hand-eye coordination and concentration as they work with food.

## Everyday use
Bring the set out when preparing a snack together: an adult can choose suitable soft foods, then guide a child as they practise cutting and assembling ingredients. The serrated edges are designed to cut soft foods, and the blunt tips help make the knives more appropriate for supervised learning than standard kitchen knives. Adult supervision remains important whenever children use cutting tools.

Would a small task like preparing a snack make kitchen time more engaging? The sandwich cutters add a simple creative step, while the boards provide a surface for the activity. When the food is ready, the storage box helps keep the set organized for the next time. Compared with buying a single child-sized knife, this set brings several kinds of tools together for varied kitchen activities.
