## Description

The 120 cm bar pairs an EZ curl shape with a detachable design, giving you a compact setup for strength training at home. Its curved grip is designed to align with a more natural hand position during curls.

The set includes two 5.5 lb plates, four 11 lb plates and a pair of star lock collars. The bar extends to 47.5″ when assembled with the connecting rod.

For a home workout space where storage matters, the bar and plates can be separated between sessions. How much easier is it to organize a routine when the same bar supports different plate combinations?

## What stands out

The curved bar is designed to reduce wrist pressure by following the angle of a natural grip. That makes it suited to curl-focused movements, while the included plates let you adjust the load rather than relying on a single fixed-weight bar. The plates use concrete filling with an HDPE outer coating, and the bar is made from solid nickel-plated iron.

The detachable parts are useful in an apartment, studio or dorm room where equipment needs to be stored after a workout. For example, you can assemble the bar for curls or other barbell exercises, then separate the bar and plates to put them away. Compared with building a routine around several fixed-weight bars, this set offers one bar with a selection of plates.

## The essentials

The two 5.5 lb plates and four 11 lb plates provide a stated 55 lb plate set. A pair of star lock collars secures the plates on the bar, and the mounting hole diameter is 2.3 cm. When assembled with the connecting rod, the bar measures 47.5″, its listed dimensions are 120 cm long by 25.8 cm wide.

Buyers commonly describe the set as functional for home workouts, while feedback on build quality is mixed. Some also report that the screw collars can loosen and that plates may feel unstable during use. The collars are intended to hold the plates in place, so make sure they are securely fastened before exercising and check them during your session. This is a practical detail for anyone choosing a screw-lock bar over a different plate-fastening design.

## Getting the most from it

Assemble the bar with the connecting rod and use the star locks to secure the plates before lifting. A quick check of the collars helps keep the plates in position as you move through your exercises. After your session, detach the bar and plates for easier storage or transport. The coated plates and iron bar bring distinct materials together in a format that can be packed away without keeping a full barbell assembled.

## Is it worth it?

Worth considering if you want an EZ curl bar and an adjustable plate set for home strength training, rather than a single fixed-weight bar. The set’s curved grip, mix of 5.5 lb and 11 lb plates, and detachable construction support a range of curl-focused workouts while making it easier to reclaim floor space when training is done. Its most useful role is a compact, adjustable setup for a home gym where the bar can be assembled for exercise and separated for storage.
