## Description

A fixed-height setup can work for a single viewing position, while a floor stand that adjusts with you is more useful when you move between sitting, standing and playing an instrument. The XXZU VCT-5229 combines adjustable height with a rotating ball head, so you can position a compatible phone or tablet for viewing, reading or hands-free use.

Its tripod folds for storage and travel, making it practical for home use, lectures and on-the-go activities.

## Practical tips

Use the flip locks to set the stand between 33.07in and 72in, choosing a height that suits your position and task. The 360° ball head lets you turn the screen to portrait, landscape or a diagonal angle. That flexibility is useful when following sheet music, watching a tutorial while practising, or setting a tablet at a comfortable viewing angle for a video.

The legs have three angle settings. At 83°, they spread almost horizontally to create a broader base, and the adjustment also allows a lower setup for low-angle viewing. When you are finished, the reverse-folding tripod packs down to 16.93in. At 693g and with a storage bag included, it is easy to take along for a lecture, reading session or event.

## Pros

The key advantage is having both height and screen-angle adjustment in one floor-standing setup. Instead of keeping a device at one fixed viewing level, you can change the stand’s extension and rotate the screen to suit a chair, standing position or music practice. The adjustable leg spread adds another way to tailor the setup, including a lower viewing position.

The folding design also makes the stand easier to store between uses or bring along when a tablet is needed away from home. Buyers highlight its light, compact feel, stable setup and useful adjustability, and appreciate having a carrying case. These impressions reflect individual experiences, the height range, rotating head and foldable tripod are the practical features that support flexible everyday use.

## Final verdict

The XXZU VCT-5229 suits people who want a portable floor stand rather than a fixed tabletop holder. Its 72in adjustment range, 360° ball head and foldable tripod make it a practical fit for switching between viewing, reading and music practice with a compatible phone or tablet.
