## Description

A ready-made cable is convenient when you need a complete lead, a connector pack is the practical choice when you’re building a cable or replacing a worn plug. The Xilaghy XI046 provides four 4-pin male XLR connectors for microphone and audio cable projects, so you can focus a repair on the plug or assemble cables for equipment with matching connections.

Each connector combines a die-cast alloy housing with oxidation-resistant, nickel-plated copper contacts. A rubber tail sleeve helps protect the cable where it meets the plug, while the included grommets help keep the connection secure.

## Tips for day-to-day use
Use these plugs when assembling or upgrading a cable for a microphone or other audio equipment with a matching 4-pin XLR connection. The screwless design allows straightforward assembly and disassembly, making it useful for cable work at home, in a studio or as part of a stage setup. What could be more useful during a repair than having several matching plugs on hand? The four-piece pack gives you connectors for more than one cable project.

These connectors are intended for indoor use. During assembly, fit the cable securely through the rubber tail sleeve and use the grommets to help support the plug connection. Match the connector’s pin count and male configuration to the equipment and cable you’re wiring.

## What stands out
The XI046 pairs a sturdy die-cast alloy shell with nickel-plated copper contacts. The contact finish is designed to resist oxidation, while the connector design helps shield the signal from noise and electromagnetic interference. This makes the plugs a useful component for microphone and audio cable builds where reliable signal transmission matters.

A flexible rubber sleeve covers the cable exit to help guard against bending and pressure, and the grommets help hold the assembled connection in place. If you’re repairing an existing lead, replacing the connector can keep the work focused on the plug, for a custom build, the same connectors provide a consistent male 4-pin XLR end.

## Highlights
The Xilaghy pack contains four male 4-pin XLR cable connectors. They’re intended for making or upgrading microphone cables, audio cables and balanced cables, and are suited to connections between microphones, mixers and other professional audio equipment with compatible 4-pin XLR sockets. Their compact construction is also convenient to store with cable-making supplies, ready for a repair or a new wiring project.

## What to clarify
