## Description

A beam rated for a 1,039 m throw helps you scan distant areas during outdoor searches, patrols or emergencies. The Wurkkos TD01-6000K pairs that reach with a maximum output of 2,200 lumens.

Two switches give you a choice of general lighting or tactical operation, so you can select a mode that suits the task. USB-C recharging keeps the flashlight ready for regular use without relying on disposable batteries.

Its aluminium body, IP68 waterproof rating and handheld design make it a practical tool for outdoor use and emergency kits. The rechargeable battery is built in and non-removable.

## What matters most

The TD01’s long-throw beam is its defining feature. It is designed to put light across distance, making it useful for checking a trail, searching a large outdoor area or looking for something beyond the reach of a typical nearby work light. Maximum output is 2,200 lumens, with a maximum beam distance of 1,039 m.

A side switch and a tail switch provide access to two operating groups. General lighting offers energy-saving, low, medium, high, strobe, SOS and beacon modes, tactical mode offers medium, extremely bright, strobe, SOS and beacon. This range supports both steady illumination and attention-getting signals.

The body is made from 6061 aluminium with an anodized finish and a tempered glass lens. IP68 waterproofing and operation underwater to a depth of 2 m add practical reassurance when the flashlight is used outdoors. Advanced temperature regulation is also included.

Buyers commonly praise the brightness, long-range beam and solid-feeling construction. Those impressions align with the TD01’s focus on distance and its aluminium body, while the two switch layouts offer flexibility for different lighting tasks.

## Practical tips

Use the USB-C charging connection to recharge the built-in battery. Since the battery is sealed inside the flashlight and cannot be removed, plan to charge the unit as a whole rather than swapping battery cells. Choose a general lighting mode for ongoing visibility, or use the tactical group when a brighter burst or a signal mode is more useful.

The cylindrical, handheld format measures 19 × 9.6 × 7.7 cm and weighs 430 g. For a search kit or emergency setup, its long-throw design is suited to checking areas at a distance, for close-up tasks, select a lower general lighting setting.

## How to use it

Hold the flashlight and use its side or tail switch to access the available lighting groups. Select from the general modes for everyday illumination, or switch to the tactical modes for medium or extremely bright output and the strobe, SOS or beacon options. The selection of modes lets you adapt the light to a search, an outdoor walk or an emergency situation without treating every task as a maximum-output one.

For charging, connect the flashlight through USB-C. Its IP68-rated housing is designed for waterproof use, including operation underwater to 2 m. This makes the TD01 suitable for outdoor situations where exposure to water is a consideration, while its long beam remains the key advantage for looking farther ahead.

## Before you decide

## Should you buy it?

Choose the Wurkkos TD01-6000K if reaching across distance matters more than having a light aimed mainly at close-up work. It brings a long-range focus to a handheld flashlight, with waterproof construction for demanding outdoor settings.
