Wisdompro Breakaway Lanyards 20-inch
Product description
Key specifications
When keys or an ID badge keep slipping into a bag, a lanyard gives them a consistent place to hang and keeps them close at hand. This Wisdompro two-pack uses a round nylon cord with a metal clip and a breakaway clasp designed to release if the lanyard is pulled or snagged, then reconnect for continued use.
The listed length is 20 inches, and the two colour options are beige and neon green. The cord is 6 mm thick. It’s intended for keys, badge holders and other lightweight accessories, rather than as a general-purpose strap for heavier items.
Who it’s for
This set makes sense for someone who wants a lanyard for everyday work, school or other settings where an ID card or keys need to stay easy to reach. Picture arriving at a desk and clipping on an ID holder, then removing it quickly when you leave, the metal clip is made to attach and detach without threading the accessory onto the cord.
It’s a fit if you want two lanyards in different colours, or a spare to keep with another set of keys. The breakaway clasp adds a release point if the cord catches on something, while the ability to reconnect it means it doesn’t have to be treated as a one-time-use feature. The product description also names key rings, wallets and USB flash drives as possible attachments, but frames the lanyard for lightweight accessories.
It may not be the best choice if you need a short wrist loop, a specific adjustable fit, or a lanyard intended to carry substantial weight, none of those features is listed. The cord length is fixed in the supplied details, so think about how you prefer an ID or keys to sit before choosing this style. Given its design, the breakaway clasp is a useful release feature, not a reason to treat the lanyard as suitable for every task.
What's included
The retail package includes two 20-inch safety breakaway lanyards, listed in beige and neon green. Each has a 6 mm round nylon cord, a metal clip and a clasp that can be reconnected after release. The description doesn’t specify additional accessories or separate badge holders, so plan to attach your own ID holder or keys.
Three specific questions
Can I attach an ID badge? Yes. The metal clip is described as suitable for ID card holders and badges, as well as keys. A badge holder is not listed as included.
What happens if the cord gets caught? The breakaway clasp is designed to release when pulled or accidentally snagged, and can then be reconnected. The product details don’t give a release-force rating.
Are both lanyards the same colour? The product is listed in beige and neon green, with two lanyards in the package. The description doesn’t say which colour is assigned to each individual piece.
Veredicto final
Choose this set if you want two straightforward lanyards for keeping lightweight keys or an ID holder accessible, and the 20-inch length suits how you wear one. The metal clip and reconnectable breakaway clasp give it more everyday practicality than a basic cord without a release point. Skip it if you need an adjustable or wrist-worn design, a supplied badge holder, or confirmed details about clasp strength, those specifics aren’t provided.
