## Description

When an RV hookup needs more protection than an exposed connection point, a lockable enclosure helps keep the receptacle covered between uses. The WEBANG RM30DFPB combines that enclosed design with a 30 A NEMA TT-30R outlet for RV power connections.

Its Type 3R rainproof enclosure is designed for indoor or outdoor installation. The lockable cover adds a practical layer of protection around the outlet when it is not in use.

Inside, the box has room to close the door with a 30 A RV cord connected, including cords with a larger handle or stiff cable. That makes it easier to keep the connection enclosed at an RV parking spot or travel trailer setup.

## Who it’s for

This outlet box is intended for RV owners setting up a dedicated 30 A connection for a camper, travel trailer or motorhome. The NEMA TT-30R receptacle matches a standard 30 A NEMA TT-30P RV cord, while the 125 V rating identifies the supply voltage for the connection. It can be installed indoors or outdoors, including near a main breaker panel or close to the RV’s parking area.

The enclosure is made from iron and has a lockable cover, so the receptacle can stay shielded when not in use. For a practical hookup, the door has enough clearance to close around a connected cord with a larger plug handle or heavy-duty, stiff wire. The lid can also stay raised while the box is being worked on, giving access during wiring and setup.

## Why it’s worth it

Rather than leaving the receptacle exposed, this design brings the outlet and its connection inside a rainproof, lockable box. That enclosed format is useful for a fixed RV power point where the receptacle needs a protective cover between visits, while the generous interior space helps accommodate common bulky RV cord ends.

The box is ETL listed and uses a single NEMA TT-30R outlet. For wiring access, the product recommends using the existing opening at the top, knockouts are also provided on the bottom and sides. Opening a knockout may require tools such as a knockout punch set, hammer or screwdriver. The top and socket panel open for access, and the lid can remain up during work.

Buyers commonly praise how the outlet functions and describe installation as straightforward. Feedback on wiring access is more mixed: some find the knockouts difficult to open, so plan the cable entry before fitting the box and use suitable tools for the chosen opening.

It’s a practical choice when you want a more protected, fixed connection point for a standard NEMA TT-30P RV cord.
