## Description

Slide dining or kitchen chairs across hardwood without the usual scrape of bare chair legs against the floor. VIUME chair leg protectors pair clear silicone sleeves with felt bottoms to help guard floors from scratches and marks while letting chairs move more quietly.

The stretch-on design fits several round and square leg sizes, and the clear finish keeps the covers visually discreet. Could fitted sleeves be a practical alternative to replacing individual stick-on pads? They offer a different approach: a cover that slips over the chair leg by hand.

## How it fits

These protectors are sized for round chair legs 1-5/16" to 2" (33–50 mm) in diameter, and square legs 1-3/16" to 1-9/16" (29–40 mm) along each side. They are also listed for chair-foot perimeters of 4-9/16" to 6-4/16" (116–160 mm). The flexible silicone stretches around the leg for a snug fit, making the set suitable for dining, kitchen, office, patio and metal bistro chairs within those size ranges.

To install, stretch each sleeve over a chair leg by hand, no tools are needed. The protectors can also be removed and reused, which is useful when rearranging furniture or moving them to another chair with a suitable leg size.

## Strengths

A felt pad bonded to the bottom of each clear silicone cover creates a soft contact point between chair and floor. That combination is designed to reduce scraping noise and help prevent scratches, scuffs and marks as chairs are moved. The felt surface also helps chairs glide, so everyday tasks such as pulling a dining chair out from the table can be easier without lifting it each time.

The product is intended for hardwood, laminate, tile and vinyl floors. With 24 protectors in the set, you can outfit multiple chairs while keeping a consistent look across a dining area or workspace. Rather than applying separate adhesive pads to each leg, these covers fit around the leg and keep the felt surface positioned underneath it.

Buyer feedback often highlights straightforward installation, a secure fit and smoother chair movement. Comments on durability are mixed, so use the listed sizing to select a snug fit and avoid forcing a cover onto a leg outside its stated range.

## Practical questions

**Will these fit both round and square chair legs?** Yes. They are listed for round legs measuring 1-5/16" to 2" (33–50 mm) in diameter and square legs measuring 1-3/16" to 1-9/16" (29–40 mm) per side. The silicone stretches around the leg.

**How do I put them on?** Stretch a cover over each chair leg by hand. Installation requires no tools, and the covers can be removed and reused.

**Can chairs still slide with the covers fitted?** Yes. The felt bottoms are designed to help chairs glide across the floor more quietly, while providing a protective contact surface.

## Final verdict

For households looking to reduce chair noise and protect floors during everyday movement, this 24-piece set combines flexible clear sleeves with felt glides. Its range of round and square leg sizes makes it useful for outfitting several chairs, provided their measurements fall within the listed fit.
