Vinxper VX8UG Electric Wine Aerator, Adjustable, Rechargeable, Gunmetal Gray

The Vinxper VX8UG measures 30W x 6H centimetres and has a gunmetal gray finish. This electric wine aerator lets you adjust aeration with a single control. One press starts the process, with aeration designed to simulate up to 240 minutes of traditional decanting. It brings aeration to the pour, so you can serve wine without setting a decanter aside to wait.

Practical tips

Adjust the aeration level to suit the wine and the style of pour you want. The unit is designed for both robust, tannic wines and lighter varieties, so the control lets you tailor its use rather than relying on one fixed setting. It can also be used with spirits such as whiskey, brandy, gin, vodka and rum to bring out their aromas.

For cleaning, place the tubes in clean water and run the device until the water comes through clear. This straightforward rinse routine helps make cleanup part of serving, rather than a separate chore. Its rechargeable 1,200 mAh Li-Po battery is specified to aerate up to 60 bottles on a two-hour charge, making it practical for regular use without changing disposable batteries.

Pros

The main benefit is speed: aeration happens as you serve, instead of relying on wine sitting in a traditional decanter before it is ready to pour. The adjustable aeration control gives you a way to vary the process for different wines, while the rechargeable design supports repeated use at home or when entertaining. A leakproof design and non-slip base add practical details around pouring and placement.

Customer feedback highlights flavour enhancement and the convenience of recharging, with buyers also describing the device as effective. Views on value for money are mixed, so the strongest reason to choose it is the combination of adjustable, immediate aeration and rechargeable operation—not a promise of a particular result for every bottle.

What to know

This is an electric wine aerator with a decanter form, and a decanter is listed among the included components. Its stated capacity is 1.5 litres. The listed materials are alloy steel, aluminium, polypropylene (PP) and stainless steel, the material features are described as non-toxic and recyclable. Its water-resistant design supports the rinse-cleaning method, while the leakproof and stain-resistant features suit serving use.

The aeration approach combines the Venturi effect with adjustable aeration technology. In practical terms, air is driven through the wine during dispensing, with the aim of increasing oxygen flow and helping release aroma and flavour. That makes it a different approach from choosing a conventional decanter for gradual aeration: this device is for people who want to serve soon after opening and control aeration at the pour.

When it makes sense

Choose the Vinxper VX8UG if you want a compact serving routine that brings adjustable aeration to the table, whether you are pouring a glass after work or serving several guests. Its rechargeable battery, one-control operation and quick rinse process are useful when ease of use matters as much as the wine itself. For wine enthusiasts who enjoy trying different varieties—and occasionally serving spirits—it offers a direct, adjustable way to aerate as they pour.
