vighep WS78-2 Solar Wall Lights, 2-Pack Up-and-Down, 3CCT, IP65

At 9.9L x 7.1W x 24.9H centimetres, each vighep WS78-2 solar wall light adds an up-and-down glow to an exterior wall. Choose warm, neutral or cool white, with two brightness levels for a softer accent or more focused local visibility. Solar charging keeps installation cordless, while USB-C backup offers another way to recharge. It suits a different need than a wide-area floodlight: defined lighting around an entrance, porch or patio.

What matters most

This two-pack combines a modern rectangular shape with light directed both above and below each fixture. The effect helps frame a front door, garage entrance, garden gate or shed wall, adding visible illumination without requiring hardwiring or an outdoor outlet. With a maximum output of 205 lumens, the lights are intended for local accent lighting rather than illuminating a large area.

Select from 3000K warm white, 4000K neutral white or 6500K cool white, each available at 50% or 100% brightness. That gives you six lighting combinations to suit the setting, from a gentler glow on a patio wall to brighter lighting beside an entry. The dusk-to-dawn sensor switches the lights on automatically at dusk and off at dawn. Their 1800mAh batteries can provide up to 12 hours of nighttime lighting after a full charge under ideal conditions, actual runtime varies with sunlight, season, weather and brightness setting.

The ABS housing is rated IP65 for resistance to water and dust, making the fixtures suitable for outdoor locations such as porches, patios and garage exteriors. Buyers speak positively about the appearance, installation and illumination, while feedback on lifespan and charging is mixed. For best solar charging, place the panel where it receives direct daylight, USB-C backup provides an alternative when sunlight is limited.

Practical tips

Choose a wall location where the front solar panel receives direct daylight, and make sure the fixture has room to cast light above and below. Use the included mounting hardware and instruction manual to install the wall brackets, then slide the lights into place. The fixtures can be removed for USB-C backup charging. The included USB cable supports that charging option.

Tips for day-to-day use

Set the colour temperature and brightness using the push-button control. Warm white can create a softer entryway or patio glow, while neutral or cool white offers a different look for exterior walls and garage entrances. If longer nighttime operation is the priority, the 50% brightness setting is one of the available choices. Automatic dusk-to-dawn operation makes the lights useful for regular evening visibility at a side door, garden gate or shed without manually switching them on each night.

Questions before you buy

Can the lights be charged without sunlight? Yes. USB-C backup charging provides another way to recharge. Solar performance is best when the panel receives direct daylight, and available sunlight affects runtime.

Can I adjust the light colour and brightness? Yes. Choose warm, neutral or cool white and select either 50% or 100% brightness, for six combinations in total.

What comes with the two-pack? The included components are mounting hardware, an instruction manual and a USB cable.

Is it worth it?

For lighting specific exterior spots without running wiring, this two-pack brings together cordless solar charging, automatic dusk-to-dawn operation and adjustable up-and-down light. The USB-C backup and choice of three colour temperatures add flexibility for changing daylight and different outdoor settings. It makes sense if you want a coordinated accent glow and useful local visibility around an entrance, porch, patio or garage wall.
