## Description

For ski days, winter hikes or outdoor work, VICEPLUS heated socks add adjustable warmth inside your boots. The heating element runs across the sole, toes and upper forefoot. Want control without reaching for your phone? Use the buttons on the battery packs to switch between four heat settings.

## Key takeaways
Each sock uses its own rechargeable 8000mAh battery, and both batteries are included. On the lowest setting, warmth can last up to 10 hours, higher heat provides a different balance of warmth and runtime. The app lets you set the temperature from 113°F to 167°F (45°C–75°C), choose a timer of 15, 30, 45, 60 or 90 minutes, activate Rapid Heat and check the remaining battery level. Noticeable warmth begins in about 10 seconds, so you can adjust your setup as outdoor conditions change. A dual USB-C cable recharges both batteries in approximately four hours.

The stretch-knit polyester fabric is described as soft and breathable, with a supportive fit for wearing inside ski, hiking and work boots. A slim, curved pocket holds each battery against the calf. The flexible unisex sizing fits US shoe sizes 6–14. Buyers have highlighted the soft feel, adjustable heat and comfort in cold outdoor conditions, some report battery use of around seven hours, depending on their experience.

## On-body feel
The stretch fabric is designed to sit comfortably in a boot while keeping the heating element close to the sole, toes and upper forefoot. That broader heating layout is useful when you want warmth across more than just the toe area. The battery pocket sits at the calf, keeping the controls within reach for app adjustments or button-based changes. For a practical setup, place the socks inside your boots and choose a heat level that suits the activity and conditions.

## Best use cases
These socks suit days when you’ll be outside for extended periods, including skiing, hiking, camping, hunting, ice fishing and outdoor work. For a ski outing, set a preferred temperature and timer in the app before heading out, then use the battery buttons if you want to change the heat without taking out your phone. They’re also useful for changing winter conditions: Rapid Heat offers a way to warm up promptly, while lower settings help make the batteries last longer. Compared with relying on ordinary socks alone, this pair adds powered, adjustable heat, it’s a good fit if that control is useful for your time outdoors.

Care is straightforward: remove both batteries before washing, place the socks in the included laundry bag for machine washing or wash them by hand, and air-dry them completely before reconnecting the batteries.

## What to clarify
**Do the socks need the app to work?** No. Use the app for temperature, timers, Rapid Heat and battery monitoring, or press the buttons on the battery packs to choose from four heat settings.

**How long does a charge last?** The stated runtime is up to 10 hours on the lowest setting and approximately four to five hours at the highest setting. Recharge time is approximately four hours for both batteries using the included dual USB-C cable.

**How should they be washed?** Remove both batteries first. Machine-wash the socks in the included laundry bag or hand-wash them, then let them air-dry completely before reconnecting the batteries.

## Should you buy it?
Choose the VICEPLUS RTX-DRO8L-PB if you want rechargeable warmth that covers the sole, toes and upper forefoot, with app settings and simple button controls as alternatives. The US shoe size 6–14 fit and boot-ready design make this pair a practical match for outdoor winter activities where adjustable foot warmth matters.
