VEVOR Hockey Shooting Tarp, 7-hole target

Seven differently shaped shooting holes give this VEVOR hockey shooting tarp a more focused job than a plain goal net: they mark out scoring areas to aim for and make solo accuracy practice easier to structure. The thick composite fabric combines 600D material with a water-resistant PVC layer, intended to handle repeated shots.

It can be secured to backyard wire mesh, garage crossbars or park fences, so practice needn’t be limited to a dedicated rink setup.

Best use cases

Use the target when you want to work on placing shots into specific areas rather than simply getting the puck on net. The holes are described as covering key scoring zones, including hard-to-defend corners and rebound areas. For a practical session, set it up on a suitable fence, take shots at different openings, then bring in a teammate for passing and shooting combinations.

The product is also intended for practice on ice or in the field, with rebound feedback designed to support follow-up shots. That may suit players who want a more game-like rhythm than they’d get from shooting at an open net, though the listing gives no dimensions or detailed mounting instructions. Check that your goal or fence setup can accommodate the tarp before choosing it.

Product specs

The target is made from thickened, wear-resistant composite fabric with a 600D construction and a water-resistant PVC layer. It has seven holes in different shapes and is described as tear-resistant for repeated use. The listing names backyard wire mesh, garage crossbars and park fences as possible places to secure it, and says installation requires no special experience.

There’s no stated size, weight or fastening-system detail here, so don’t assume it will fit every goal frame or that specific mounting hardware is included. The water-resistant layer is a material feature, not a guarantee that the entire target is suitable for prolonged outdoor exposure in any weather.

Where it shines

Compared with a basic open net, this tarp gives each shot a defined target, which can make accuracy drills more deliberate. Its seven openings also offer more variety than practising on a single marked area. Without having tested it, the main appeal is clear: it combines target practice with rebound-oriented sessions, rather than serving only as a barrier behind the goal.

What’s the point of a shooting target if it doesn’t suit the way you train? This one is presented for both individual skill work and team passing-and-shooting drills. Its fabric construction is intended to withstand repeated strikes, but there’s no independent durability information in the product details. This suits you if you want several aiming zones and have a compatible place to hang the tarp. It won’t suit you if you need a complete goal, a stated fit for a particular frame, or detailed setup guidance.

Decisión final

Choose the VEVOR tarp if your practice setup already has a fence or crossbar to secure it to, and you want clear shot-placement targets for solo or team drills. The multiple openings and rebound-focused design give it a more specific purpose than an unmarked net. Skip it if fit certainty is essential: without dimensions or fastening details, you’ll need to judge whether your own setup will work before buying.
