## Description

Choosing a phone microphone can mean prioritizing a simple solo setup or recording more than one voice. The Utsund K3 comes with two wireless clip-on microphones and a receiver for smartphone and tablet recording. Intelligent noise reduction and 2.4 GHz transmission support clear audio capture in noisy surroundings. An LED display makes key functions easier to check while you record.

## Why it makes sense

Two microphones make this set useful for interviews, conversations, vlogs and other recordings with more than one speaker. Clip a microphone on each person, then connect the receiver to a compatible device to capture audio for video. The omnidirectional pickup pattern suits voice recording where speakers may move naturally rather than addressing a fixed point.

Noise reduction is built into the microphones to help identify the original sound in noisy environments. That can be useful when filming an interview outdoors or recording a short social video in a busy setting. The 2.4 GHz wireless transmission keeps the microphone setup separate from a wired connection between each speaker and the phone.

## What to know

The microphones connect through a receiver with a USB Type-C connector. The set includes a USB-C to Lightning adapter for compatible Lightning devices, and the microphones are described as compatible with iPhone, iPad, Android smartphones and tablets. If a phone does not connect, enable OTG in its settings. The LED display provides indicators for connection, battery, noise reduction and mute, so you can check these functions during setup and recording.

Each fully charged lapel microphone can be used continuously for up to six hours. The receiver has a USB-C charging port for charging a phone during recording, a practical feature for outdoor interviews, livestreams and online meetings. The package also includes a receiver, charging cable and user manual alongside the two microphones and adapter.

## How to look after it

Read the user manual and charge the microphone before its first use. Before recording, check the LED indicators for connection and battery status, then select the noise reduction or mute function as needed. For a longer session, the receiver’s USB-C port can be used to charge your phone while you record. These simple checks help you prepare the setup for interviews, social content or a remote meeting.

## Practical questions

**How many people can use the microphones at once?** The set includes two wireless clip-on microphones, so two speakers can each wear a microphone for a shared recording, such as an interview or conversation.

**Which phones and tablets can it connect to?** It is described as compatible with iPhone, iPad and Android smartphones and tablets. The receiver uses USB Type-C, and a USB-C to Lightning adapter is included for compatible Lightning devices. If connection fails, enable OTG in your phone’s settings.

**How long can a microphone record on one charge?** Each lapel microphone provides up to six hours of continuous use when fully charged. The receiver also has a USB-C port for charging your phone during a recording.

## When it makes sense

The Utsund K3 suits creators and speakers who want a compact phone-based recording setup for two voices, from interviews and vlogs to livestreams and online meetings. Its two clip-on microphones, noise reduction, visible function indicators and included Lightning adapter bring useful flexibility to recording with compatible phones and tablets.
