## Description

If your priority is a poultry setup that helps keep feed tidy, a port-based kit offers a different approach from an open container. The UNICHIC CFS-FT-01 combines feeding and watering points for a DIY installation on a container. Gravity-fed operation and a rain cover with a sealing lid and rubber seal help keep feed dry. The result is a practical setup for backyard or farm poultry.

## Technical details
- Type: Chicken feeder and waterer kit
- Model: CFS-FT-01
- Feeding and watering: 8 feeder ports and 8 waterer ports/cups
- Feed system: Gravity-fed, with rain cover, sealing lid and rubber seal
- Features: Weatherproof and rodent-proof design
- Mounting: Container mount
- Dimensions: 14.2L x 9W x 14.2H centimetres
- Included components: 8 chicken feeder ports, 8 chicken water feeder ports, 1 hole saw and 1 drill

The ports are intended to be fitted to a feed container, with the included hole saw used to make the openings. The kit can be set up on containers such as buckets, bins, barrels or boxes, making it easier to adapt the feeding arrangement to the space and container you already use. A larger container can also mean less frequent refilling. The feed ports let chickens reach the feed with their heads while helping prevent them from scattering it with their feet. That can help keep feed cleaner and reduce spillage around the coop.

## Best use cases
This kit suits backyard coops and farm settings where you want feeding and watering points mounted directly on a container. For a typical setup, fit the ports to a suitable bucket or bin, then place it where the flock can access the openings. The covered feed design is useful where keeping feed dry matters, while the multi-port layout provides several access points from one container. Compared with relying on an open feeder and separate water arrangement, this DIY format brings both functions into a container-mounted setup.

Buyers commonly describe the kit as easy to install and use, and highlight its function for chickens. Some also report that chickens have torn off the ends of the waterer, so the water components are worth considering in light of how your flock uses its setup. Opinions on value vary.

## In the box
The set includes 8 chicken feeder ports, 8 chicken water feeder ports, a hole saw and a drill. For installation, prepare the feed container and use the hole saw to make the openings for the ports. This gives you the core components to build a container-based feeder and waterer arrangement rather than starting with separate port fittings.

## Should you buy it?
Choose the CFS-FT-01 if you want a DIY, container-mounted feeding and watering setup with multiple access points and features aimed at reducing feed mess. Its covered, gravity-fed feed design is especially useful for poultry keepers looking to keep food dry and limit scattering around the coop. It suits you if you want to tailor a feeder arrangement to a bucket, bin, barrel or box for everyday chicken care.
