## Description

When a wall outlet sits behind furniture, a slim plug can matter as much as the number of connections. The TROND TD-PS-US15 combines a 5 ft flat extension cord with four AC outlets and four USB ports, making it easier to set up a compact charging point at a desk, beside a sofa or in a dorm room.

Its small rectangular design also suits packing for travel, while mounting holes offer another way to keep it accessible and off a work surface.

## Technical overview

The 10 mm ultra-thin flat plug is angled at 45 degrees, helping it sit close to the wall and leave the outlet below available. The flat cord can run along a baseboard or behind furniture, and the four-sided outlet layout gives larger adapters room to connect. Compared with a basic extension bar that only adds AC outlets, this model also provides USB-A and USB-C charging in the same compact unit. Need to power several everyday devices from one spot? Its mix of connections is designed for that kind of setup.

- AC outlets: 4, with a maximum rating of 125 V/10 A and 1,250 W
- USB ports: 2 USB-A and 2 USB-C
- USB output: USB-A up to 5 V/2.4 A, USB-C up to 5 V/3 A. When two or more USB ports are used, total output is shared at up to 17 W
- Surge protection: 900 joules, with a green indicator light
- Dimensions: 9.65 x 4.32 x 2.79 cm, weight: 204 g
- Enclosure material: ABS and polycarbonate, flame-retardant material rated UL94 V-0

The output details help when planning what to plug in: use the AC outlets for equipment such as a laptop, fan or camera, and the USB ports for phones, earbuds, tablets or smartwatches. Buyers often appreciate the compact format and travel-friendly design, feedback on USB charging speed is mixed, so the shared 17 W output is a useful guide when several USB devices are connected at once.

## Best use cases

For a home office, place the power bar where laptop accessories and personal devices can share one accessible charging point. In a dorm room or beside a sofa, its slim plug and flat cord help make use of a narrow gap without positioning a bulky bar in the middle of the room. The widely spaced AC outlets are useful when connected adapters need extra room, while the USB ports keep compatible devices close by for charging.

For trips, its compact size makes it easy to pack as a small multi-device power bar. At home or at a workbench, the two mounting holes allow it to be fixed to a wall or desk, the package includes a mounting template and screws for that setup.

## In the box

The package contains one TROND power bar, a welcome guide, an installation template strip and three screws. Use the template to position the mounting points, then secure the bar where its outlets and USB ports will be convenient to reach. The power bar can also be used without mounting, making it straightforward to place on a desk or pack for travel.

## When it makes sense

A solid pick if you want a space-conscious way to add both AC and USB connections near a desk, bed or seating area. The 5 ft flat cord helps reach a more useful position from a wall outlet, while the combination of four AC outlets and four USB ports supports a mixed everyday setup. For a travel bag, dorm room or compact home office, the TD-PS-US15 brings multiple charging options together in one mountable power bar.
