## Description

Behind a TV stand, desk or dresser, a plug that sticks out can make furniture harder to position. The TROND TD-EC-US01R uses a right-angle flat plug and a flexible 6 ft cord to bring power to a more convenient spot indoors.

Its three grounded outlets sit on different sides, giving plugs and bulky adapters more room to connect. The cord is rated for 13 A and 1625 W at 125 V, making it a practical way to extend a wall outlet for everyday home or office devices within that rating.

Need a lower-profile alternative to a straight plug that projects from the wall? This design keeps the connection close to the wall while giving you three places to plug in.

## Who it’s for
This cord suits anyone organizing power around furniture or a compact work area, especially when a wall outlet sits behind a TV stand, cabinet, desk or dresser. The low-profile plug is 0.33 in thick, helping furniture sit closer to the wall than it might with a conventional plug. Its 0.15 in flat cable can follow a corner or furniture edge for a tidier route.

The three outlets are positioned on separate sides, so connected plugs have space around them rather than competing for one direction. That can be useful when powering a mix of devices or adapters from a single wall receptacle. The white finish also blends easily with many light-coloured walls and furnishings.

## Best use cases
Use it to create a small power point behind a TV stand, beside a desk or on a counter where one outlet needs to serve several devices. For example, a home office setup can place a computer, lamp and router within reach of one wall outlet, provided their combined load stays within the cord’s 13 A and 1625 W rating. It can also extend power to indoor appliances such as a blender or toaster, within the same rating.

The flexible flat cable helps with routing around a corner, while the right-angle plug is designed for tight clearance behind furniture. Buyers also commonly appreciate this close-to-the-wall fit and the cord’s usefulness behind mounted TVs and other furnishings. It is intended for indoor use, match the plug and electrical rating to the outlet and devices in your setup.

## When it makes sense
Choose this approach when a standard extension cord’s projecting plug would interfere with furniture placement, or when several grounded connections are more useful than extending a single outlet. A basic one-outlet cord may suit a setup with just one device, the TROND adds three connection points and spreads them across different sides, which helps accommodate larger plugs.

Worth considering if you want a neater power route behind furniture without giving up access to multiple outlets. Its defining advantage is the combination of a low-profile right-angle plug, a 6 ft flat cord and three grounded outlets for everyday indoor setups.
