## Description

For a home office or entertainment setup with several devices to power, the TROND Prime VIII combines 10 grounded AC outlets with four USB ports in one power bar. Its 15 ft cord helps reach an outlet behind furniture or across a desk area. Widely spaced outlets make room for larger adapters, while the flat plug keeps the connection profile low behind furniture.

## How it fits
Set the power bar on a desktop or workbench to bring AC and USB charging within reach, or use its four corner mounting holes to attach it to a wall, under a desk or behind a TV. The 15 ft cord adds flexibility when the nearest wall outlet is not beside your equipment. It’s a practical layout for a home office with a computer, monitors, a lamp and a phone, or for gathering entertainment equipment around one accessible power point.

The 10 outlets are arranged horizontally and vertically, with extra space between them for larger plugs and power adapters. That layout can help keep neighbouring outlets available instead of letting one bulky adapter crowd out another. Compared with a basic power bar that offers closely grouped outlets and no USB charging, the Prime VIII brings more connection options together, including USB-C, in a single desk or wall-mounted setup.

## Why it’s worth it
A 4,000-joule surge protection rating provides a defined level of protection for connected electronics, while the 15 A rating and 1,875 W maximum power support a range of everyday home and office equipment. The power bar is ETL listed and made with UL94 V-0 flame-retardant material. Its Type B, three-prong plug is suited to North American outlets, match the total load of connected devices to the power bar’s rated limits.

The built-in USB ports offer another way to charge without using an AC outlet for every device: there are two USB-A and two USB-C ports. Buyers also highlight the long, flexible cord, the spacing between outlets, and the convenience of the USB ports. Wall mounting is another useful option when keeping the power bar off a work surface helps organize a desk, garage bench or entertainment area.

## Questions before you buy
**How many devices can connect through the power bar?** It has 10 grounded AC outlets and four USB ports. The total connected load should stay within its 1,875 W maximum at 125 V / 15 A.

**Can it be mounted instead of placed on a desk?** Yes. Four mounting holes at the corners allow wall or under-desk installation, with screws included.

**What does the USB charging setup include?** There are two USB-A ports and two USB-C ports, with a combined USB output of 17 W. The USB-A output is rated up to 5 V / 2.4 A and USB-C up to 5 V / 3.0 A.

## Is it worth it?
The Prime VIII suits a desk, workshop or entertainment area where multiple AC connections, USB charging and a longer reach to the wall outlet are useful together. Its widely spaced outlets accommodate larger adapters, and the four USB ports add convenient charging options without taking up the AC outlets. Choose it to bring surge protection and flexible power access to a busy indoor setup.
