TROND Prime V S Surge Protector Power Bar, 13 Outlets, 35W USB-C PD

The 5 ft TROND Prime V S power bar combines a flat-plug cord with 13 AC outlets and four USB ports. Its widely spaced sockets make room for larger power adapters. Surge protection and wall-mounting options suit a home office, dorm room or entertainment centre.

How it fits

Use it to expand a single Type B wall outlet into a shared power and charging station for indoor spaces. The 14 AWG, 5 ft cord gives you room to position the bar on a desk or workbench, while its low-profile right-angle plug is designed to fit behind furniture and in tighter spaces. The power bar can also be mounted using its mounting ears and included screws, keeping sockets accessible where you organize your equipment.

Ten of the 13 AC outlets are spaced 1.5 inches apart, helping larger adapters fit without crowding neighbouring sockets. That layout is useful when a desk setup includes monitors, a television or other devices with bulky plugs. The four USB ports—two USB-C PD and two USB-A QC 3.0—provide a direct place to charge compatible devices without using an AC outlet for each USB adapter. For USB-C fast charging, the 35W maximum applies to a single fast-charging connection.

Why it’s worth it

This power bar brings everyday device power, USB charging and surge protection together in one mountable unit. Its 4,000-joule surge rating adds protection for connected electronics, while the 13 outlets give a multi-device workspace room to grow without stacking separate power bars. The flat plug is a practical detail for setups where a conventional plug would press against furniture or project farther from the wall.

Buyers particularly appreciate the number and spacing of the sockets, noting that the layout helps accommodate different plug sizes and keep a cluster of devices organized. That makes the Prime V S a useful alternative to a compact strip with closely grouped outlets when you need to connect several adapters in one spot. In a dorm room, for example, it can keep a desk’s AC-powered equipment together while USB ports handle compatible phones and accessories.
