Its 5 ft cord brings power to a desktop or entertainment area without putting the power bar right beside the wall socket. Four AC outlets provide room for devices such as a computer, monitor, printer or router. For smaller electronics, two USB-C and two USB-A ports offer charging connections in the same compact power bar. Choose this setup when you want to bring several devices together at a desk or media centre, a separate USB charger and a basic extension cord are a different approach. The Prime II combines both functions and can also be mounted using its mounting ears and included screws. ## Quick overview The TROND Prime II has four AC outlets and four USB ports: two USB-C and two USB-A. Its USB output is rated at 5V, with a total output of 17W, so it provides a convenient place to charge phones, tablets and other USB devices alongside equipment plugged into the outlets. The AC side is rated for up to 1,625W at 125V/13A, and 1,440 joules of surge protection helps protect connected electronics from voltage surges. A practical example is an office desk with a computer, monitor and printer, plus a phone or tablet charging nearby. The 5 ft cord gives the power bar room to sit under or beside the desk, while its slim profile can help keep the setup less conspicuous. It is also designed for wall mounting, including behind a TV cabinet or under a counter. ## Tips for day-to-day use Place the power bar where its outlets and USB ports are easy to reach, then route the flat extension cord around the edge of a desk or furniture for a tidier setup. The low-profile plug is designed for tight spaces, including behind a sofa or cabinet. For a fixed workstation or entertainment area, the mounting ears and included screws provide another way to position the bar. Keep the combined AC load within its 13A, 1,625W rating at 125V. ## Usage tips Use the AC outlets for equipment with a North American Type B plug, and connect USB devices directly to the USB-C or USB-A ports. Its 1,440-joule surge rating and two LED status lights make it suited to a home office or media setup where several electronics share a power source. The manufacturer lists a voltage compatibility range of AC 100–250V, confirm that the connected equipment and the electrical supply are suitable for the intended use. Some buyers appreciate the flat plug for placing furniture close to a wall and hiding cords behind desks or TVs. Feedback is mixed on USB-port performance and outlet spacing, so those points may matter when planning a tightly packed arrangement or choosing which devices to connect. ## Before you decide **How many devices can connect at once?** There are four AC outlets and four USB ports, consisting of two USB-C and two USB-A. The maximum AC rating is 1,625W at 125V/13A, USB output is rated at 17W total. **Can it be mounted?** Yes. The power bar has mounting ears at its corners, and mounting screws are included. **How long is the cord?** The extension cord is 5 ft (1.5 m), giving you reach from a wall outlet to a desk, cabinet or entertainment area. ## Is it worth it? For a home office, dorm room or media area that needs both AC outlets and USB charging in one place, the Prime II offers a useful combination: four outlets, four USB ports, surge protection and a flat-plug cord. Its wall-mount option adds flexibility for a more organized, accessible setup. ## Images ![TROND Prime II 5FT Power Bar with Surge Protection, 4 Outlets and 4 USB Ports — 1](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/Kbdr6IOxwb1xgvfQf5bab08GZJMZ0nzFNZYKorg04BpbBb2wRGrMHruJrUON9saB5Ob1PKwv1noMna4Mj5vmbBsClW194Aoj7BVJnXg4x-9XMCY7r0214py_1Q.jpg) ![TROND Prime II 5FT Power Bar with Surge Protection, 4 Outlets and 4 USB Ports — 2](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/4RehY9x_loUrQIGOXGUuPOwbOPpxW2IZuTCVytwrer8WfHEKceUH-sDvHtZCcvo6WZATvqY-WDm9dgLpjbe87oCtB-E94ED25PoS1DwOqr5soQt8jKAi-HCchQ.jpg) ![TROND Prime II 5FT Power Bar with Surge Protection, 4 Outlets and 4 USB Ports — 3](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/Y1CabZLzX6Bve9bi_dXEGChX5LqAQeInzMBB8fIj9vRcLbJWyYz_cXRv8ijXThbK9OJCZ1a0gUEC2ZxC_nMiLye9T3mVjVAyLjK32M1RUcIhI_t0hIQmiugZ9w.jpg) ![TROND Prime II 5FT Power Bar with Surge Protection, 4 Outlets and 4 USB Ports — 4](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/YSa5Q3WuRcprrVFsfgRjSckAs_a9M3NnNyGiKc9RDgYQzZXG6wMLHYQVPAyJJjTvEcq8J_XQz4m7v8VMVymhSYw8FzG7gy7UbyZdqShs5LI2T1VUWwBjm4UHsA.jpg) ![TROND Prime II 5FT Power Bar with Surge Protection, 4 Outlets and 4 USB Ports — 5](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/AGMis9zUbkl4kDV-SGrM-o3zxZFU72VYaobucZ6kpS6yKf3z-P0vKlan71wXgpvbzBjcUxlMWCoTj_CZTGuH0Qe2qXsCzLKybvoJL7bkbdTNaM4cTsuGK4JYxA.jpg)
