## Description

Hang these Toodour star lights from a tree or roofline to create a festive focal point in your Christmas display. The 12-inch topper leads into nine light strings, each 10 feet long. Choose from eight lighting modes to suit the setting, from a steady glow to twinkling effects.

## Key points

With 317 LEDs arranged around a star and its trailing strings, this decoration brings the look of a comet to a garden, tree or indoor holiday display. Compared with ordinary string lights used to outline a space, its star-and-tail shape creates one distinct feature, it can also complement other lights when you want a more layered display. The multicolour lights and eight modes offer flexibility for different occasions, including Christmas gatherings and seasonal parties.

Select from combination, wave, sequential, slow-glow, chasing or flashing, slow fade, twinkle or flash, and steady-on settings using the button on the adapter. The built-in memory chip retains the last selected mode. A timer can be activated by holding the adapter button for three seconds until the green light comes on, it then runs for six hours on and 18 hours off automatically. This lets you set a regular display schedule without switching the lights on and off each day.

Buyers often praise the appearance of the display when illuminated, while feedback on durability and reliability is mixed. That makes the distinctive star shape and mode selection the main reasons to choose this style of decoration.

## Fit and sizing

The topper measures 12 inches, with nine descending strings measuring 10 feet each. A 16.4-foot lead cable connects the display to its adapter. Consider the hanging point and the area beneath it together: the star sits at the top, while the light strings extend below to create the comet-like outline. The display is designed for indoor or outdoor seasonal decorating and includes an adapter, user manual and 10 metal inserts.

The lights are rated IP44 for outdoor use. Keep the power adapter dry when setting up the display outside. Once hung and connected, use the adapter button to choose a lighting mode or activate the timer.

## Best use cases

Use the star as a centrepiece on a garden tree, above an outdoor display or as a hanging feature indoors. Its nine long strings make it suited to decorating a single focal area rather than simply tracing a window or railing. The eight modes let you choose a more animated effect for a gathering or steady illumination for a calmer seasonal scene. It can also add a distinctive accent to a wedding or holiday party setting.

## Is it worth it?

It suits you if you want a hanging Christmas decoration that combines a topper star with trailing lights in one display. The 317 LEDs, nine 10-foot strings, multiple lighting modes and automatic timer make it practical for creating a noticeable seasonal feature without arranging separate strands into the same shape. Choose it for a tree, garden or indoor space where its star-and-tail design can be seen clearly.
