TokeShimi Medicine Cabinet, 14 x 18 Inch

What matters most

If you want a bathroom mirror that also keeps everyday toiletries behind a door, this cabinet is designed for both jobs. Its 14 x 18-inch format pairs a black, bevelled aluminium frame with a mirrored front, so it adds storage without relying on a separate open shelf.

The shelves can be positioned at different heights along the tracks rather than being limited to preset holes. That gives you room to arrange taller skincare bottles alongside smaller items, instead of leaving awkward unused space above them. The cabinet uses tempered glass, and the product details describe the reflection as HD.

Installation is offered as either recessed or surface-mounted, and the door can be reversed to suit the opening direction. Keep in mind that the listing does not give detailed installation dimensions or the cabinet’s internal measurements, so the stated format alone may not tell you whether it will fit a particular wall opening.

How to use it

Choose the installation style that matches your bathroom: recessed for a more built-in look, or surface-mounted when you want the cabinet attached to the wall rather than set into it. The listing also says the door can be flipped for reverse opening, which may help when the room layout or nearby plumbing affects which way it should swing.

Once installed, set the shelf heights around what you actually store. For example, a taller bottle can have its own vertical space while shorter everyday toiletries sit together on another shelf. The tracks allow adjustments without relying on fixed shelf holes, making the interior easier to reorganize as your storage needs change.

Practical tips

Before choosing a spot, think through the door’s opening direction and whether recessed or surface-mounted installation makes more sense for the wall. The product description does not provide the measurements needed to confirm a fit for every recess, so take your own installation area into account rather than assuming the listed size covers all required clearances.

The aluminium frame is described as corrosion-resistant and moisture-proof, and the shelves are also aluminium. The door uses tempered glass, with DTC hinges and magnetic bumpers described as supporting smooth, quiet closing. These details point to a cabinet intended for bathroom use, but the listing does not specify a weight limit for the shelves. If you plan to store unusually heavy items, that missing figure matters.

Assembly instructions, videos and labelled parts are mentioned. If you prefer a cabinet that arrives ready to mount with no assembly, this setup may be less convenient. Based on the product details provided, its main appeal is the combination of adjustable storage and flexible mounting, rather than a stated capacity or a fully specified installation fit.

Buying questions

Can it be recessed or mounted on the wall? The listing describes both recessed and surface-mounted installation options.

Can the door open in either direction? The door is described as reversible, allowing reverse opening to suit the layout.

Are the shelves fixed in place? No. They can be adjusted along reinforced tracks rather than being restricted to preset holes.
