Tofern Thermal Pants, Water-Repellent Down Ski Trousers with Side Zippers
Product description
How it fits
The double-sided zippers make these insulated pants easy to pull on or take off without removing your shoes, a practical advantage when you’re gearing up outdoors or warming up during a winter activity. An adjustable waist drawstring helps secure the fit, while elastic cuffs at the bottom of the legs help hold warmth in. Wear them for skiing, skating, hiking, camping or other cold-weather outings, they can also add warmth at home when you’re sitting or relaxing.
If you need a layer you can add or remove while keeping your footwear on, the side zippers offer a different approach from changing into a separate pair of ski trousers. The waist adjustment helps tailor the fit for movement.
What stands out
The shell is made from 20D 400T nylon, described as water-repellent and resistant to down escaping through the fabric. That combination is useful in damp, snowy or foggy conditions, helping keep the pants comfortable for outdoor use. White goose down provides insulation, and the design includes extra-thick filling at the seat and knees for added coverage when sitting or moving through cold conditions.
For a winter walk, for example, the side zippers make it easier to put the pants on over your footwear before heading out, then take them off when you’re back indoors. The adjustable waist and elastic leg openings help keep the layer in place as you move. Buyers often praise the warmth, comfort and fit, sharing that the pants make spending time outside in winter more comfortable.
