## Description

## Technical details

In Large/X-Large, the TISMOD WB04 is a wrist brace designed to support both the wrist and thumb. Its adjustable straps let you set the fit around the wrist and secure the thumb, while removable splints provide structured support.

The brace is intended for adult use and is listed for concerns including tendinitis, wrist or thumb sprains and strains, and De Quervain’s tenosynovitis. It can also be used for support during activities such as golf and tennis.

- Model: WB04
- Size: Large/X-Large
- Colour: Black
- Closure: Adjustable hook-and-loop straps
- Support: Removable aluminium splints
- Care: Hand wash only

## Who it’s for

This brace is suited to adults looking for support that includes the thumb rather than a wrist-only design. Stabilizing both areas can be useful when the thumb and wrist need support together, including during recovery from a sprain or strain or when managing tendon-related discomfort. It is also described for use with carpal tunnel syndrome and arthritis.

The adjustable wrist straps and separate thumb-retention strap allow the fit to be adapted around the hand. For someone choosing between a simple wrist guard and a thumb-spica style brace, the WB04’s thumb support is the distinguishing feature, that combined coverage is relevant when the thumb needs attention alongside the wrist. Its listed sports uses include golf and tennis.

Buyer feedback often appreciates the support and thumb immobilization, and some describe the fit as adjustable. Experiences with comfort and durability are mixed, with some comments noting pressure around the thumb or hand. The removable splints offer another way to tailor the support configuration to the intended use.

## Everyday use

The wraparound closures make it possible to secure the brace at the wrist and thumb, then adjust the tension for a supportive fit. For a practical routine, the straps can be fastened before a period of rest or an activity where wrist and thumb support is wanted. The product is also presented as a night thumb-spica splint, so its format is relevant for people seeking support while resting.

The two removable aluminium splints add structure, while the adjustable straps help hold the hand in position. This combination makes the brace a more targeted choice than a wrist support that leaves the thumb free. Follow the hand-wash care instruction to clean it.

## What to clarify

**How do the closures adjust?** Three adjustable straps wrap around the wrist, and a hook-and-loop thumb strap secures the thumb. Together, they allow the fit to be adjusted around both areas.

**Can the support splints be removed?** Yes. The brace has two removable aluminium support splints, allowing the support arrangement to be adjusted for use.

**How should the brace be cleaned?** Hand wash only, as directed in the care instructions.

## When it makes sense

Choose the TISMOD WB04 when wrist support alone is not the whole requirement and you want a brace that also stabilizes the thumb. Its adjustable closures and removable splints make it a practical format for adults seeking combined wrist-and-thumb support during rest, recovery, or listed activities such as golf and tennis.
