Theefun NX-PS-8 8-Inch Plasma Globe, Blue Touch & Sound Lamp
Product description
For anyone looking to bring a hands-on science display or a distinctive light feature into a room, the Theefun plasma globe responds to touch and sound with moving plasma filaments. Its blue glass sphere makes the light show a visible part of the décor, while touch and sound modes add an interactive element for a desk, gathering or indoor display.
Buyers often highlight its visual appeal and the fun of watching the display. Set it on a tabletop, connect the included adapter and choose a way to activate it.
What stands out
Touch the glass sphere and the glowing filaments move towards your fingers, turning a simple lamp into an engaging demonstration of plasma effects. In sound mode, the display responds to sounds above 80 dB, so music can bring an extra visual feature to a party or shared space. The globe offers a more interactive approach than static décor: it gives visitors something to watch and try, as well as adding ambient light.
The blue glass shade and spherical shape suit an office, room or party setting. Buyers praise the lamp’s striking appearance and entertaining light display, feedback on build quality and value is mixed. Its appeal is the combination of a decorative object and a touch-responsive science-style display, rather than lighting for general room illumination.
The essentials
The lamp measures 20.3 × 20.3 × 20.3 centimetres and weighs 0.89 kg. It is designed for tabletop use indoors and has a toggle switch on the base. The power source is corded electric, and an included 12V adapter connects the globe to an outlet. Once it is set up, choose touch control or sound activation to make the plasma filaments move.
For a practical scene, place it on a desk or party table where people can see the sphere, then use touch mode to show how the filaments follow a finger across the glass. For music-led gatherings, sound mode adds a changing light effect when the sound level passes its activation threshold. This makes it a conversation piece as well as a decorative lamp, and a gift idea for someone interested in visual science displays.
Everyday use
Use the globe on a stable indoor tabletop and keep it away from high-temperature areas and metal objects while it is operating. Keep hands dry, avoid prolonged direct contact with the sphere, and supervise minors during use. These simple precautions help make the interactive display easier to enjoy in a home, office or party setting.
