Tevlaphee Steering Wheel Lock, Yellow

Technical details

The bright yellow finish makes this Tevlaphee steering wheel lock easy to spot in a parked vehicle, adding a visible theft deterrent rather than relying on hidden security alone. Its design uses four locking hooks and twin bars to grip the steering wheel, and the product is described as adjustable for a range of vehicles. The body combines steel and aluminium, with a plastic-dipped finish intended to help protect the steering wheel from contact. Three keys are included.

This is a physical obstacle and a visual warning, not a guarantee against theft. Its practical appeal is the straightforward routine: fit the lock when you park, then use a key to lock or remove it. That added step may suit drivers who want a visible deterrent without installing a more involved security system.

Compatibility

The stated fit is for steering wheels with an inner diameter between 5.3” and 14.1”. The listing names sedans, SUVs, pickup trucks, vans and trucks, but the wheel measurement is the more useful guide than the vehicle category alone. Measure the steering wheel’s inner diameter before choosing it, a vehicle being listed as compatible does not confirm that every wheel shape will suit the lock.

It suits you if you want an adjustable steering wheel lock that is conspicuous when fitted and can be locked and removed with a key. It won’t suit you if you need a security device that works without fitting and removing it each time you park, or if your wheel falls outside the stated range.

Usage tips

Use the lock after parking, following its hooks-and-bars design to secure it around the steering wheel, then check that it is locked before leaving the vehicle. For example, on a quick stop, the bright yellow bar is visible from outside and signals that an extra physical barrier is in place. Keep the keys somewhere you can access when you return, the product includes three, but the listing does not provide details about key replacement.

Compared with relying on a less visible deterrent, this lock makes its presence obvious. The trade-off is that it needs to be put on and taken off by hand, so it adds a small routine to every trip.

Three specific questions

Does it come with keys? Yes. The listing states that three keys are included.

Will it fit every car or truck? No universal fit is confirmed. The stated steering-wheel inner-diameter range is 5.3” to 14.1”, so check your wheel’s measurement.

Can it prevent theft on its own? It is presented as a visible deterrent and physical steering-wheel lock, but the product information does not promise that it will stop every theft attempt.

Before buying

The deciding detail is fit: compare your steering wheel’s inner diameter with the stated range, rather than choosing by vehicle type alone. If it matches and you’re comfortable adding a keyed lock-up step whenever you park, the bright colour, adjustable design and included keys make this a straightforward anti-theft accessory to consider. If you want a set-and-forget solution or need confirmed fit for a particular wheel shape, this listing does not provide enough detail to establish that it will meet those needs.
