## Description

## Key takeaways
This four-pack of Tapo P105 mini smart plugs adds app and voice control to compatible household devices. Each plug supports a 15 A rating, with 1800 W listed at 120 V. Use the Tapo app to switch connected devices on or off, set schedules and timers, or group Tapo devices for shared control. Bluetooth onboarding helps streamline initial setup.

The compact format is designed to leave space for an adjacent wall socket. That makes the plugs useful when you want to add smart control without replacing an existing lamp, fan or other household appliance. They connect over 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and do not require a hub. The plugs are compatible with [amazon](https://www.amazon.ca/-/dp/B0BBYV5JM2?tag=caofetop0e-20) Alexa and Google Assistant, and are UL certified with a two-year manufacturer warranty.

## Practical tips
During setup, use the Tapo app and a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi connection. Before connecting an appliance, check that its electrical requirements are within the plug’s stated rating. Once connected, use the app for remote on/off control, a countdown timer or a recurring schedule. For example, a lamp can be scheduled to switch on at a chosen time, while a fan can be turned off with a timer.

The P105 offers a straightforward alternative to replacing everyday appliances with smart versions: keep the device you already use and manage its power through the plug. Buyers often highlight the easy setup and Tapo app experience, along with the plugs’ appearance and connectivity. These comments reflect individual experiences, while the app, Wi-Fi and voice-assistant features provide practical ways to manage devices around the home.

## Everyday use
With four plugs in the pack, you can add app-based control in several rooms or use them for different routines. A coffee maker or lamp can be scheduled for a regular part of the day, while a connected device can be switched on or off from the app. Away Mode can turn connected appliances such as lamps on and off to create the appearance of activity at home. Group Control is also available for coordinating this plug with other Tapo smart devices.

The plugs are a practical choice for people who want schedules, timers or voice commands for existing household devices rather than a more extensive smart-home setup. Alexa and Google Assistant support enables hands-free control, while the Tapo app provides direct access to switching and automation.

## Before you decide
**Does the Tapo P105 require a hub?** No. It connects over 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth onboarding supports the initial setup process.

**Which voice assistants can control it?** The plugs work with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant for voice commands. You can also manage them through the Tapo app.

**Can it automate lamps and fans?** Yes. The app supports recurring schedules and countdown timers, and Away Mode can switch connected appliances such as lamps on and off while you are away.

## Final verdict
The Tapo P105(4-Pack) suits households looking to add app, schedule and voice control across several everyday devices. Its compact design, four-plug format and Alexa and Google Assistant compatibility make it a useful way to bring simple automation to existing appliances.
