Sungmor iron wall cross 14.8 inches

Highlights

The Sungmor iron wall cross may appeal to someone looking for religious decor with more visual detail than a plain, flat cross. Its flower-and-vine pattern and rustic white finish are intended to give it an aged look, while the iron construction makes it a substantial wall accent rather than a lightweight print. The listing names bedrooms, living rooms and entryways as possible placements, so it can work as a focal detail in a small stretch of wall or alongside other farmhouse-style decor. It measures 14.8 x 9.6 x 0.4 inches, and a hook on the back is provided for hanging.

One detail to keep in mind: the product name calls it cast iron, while the description calls it wrought iron. The information provided does not resolve that difference, so treat it simply as an iron wall decoration unless the exact material matters to your purchase. The listing also describes it as suitable for outdoor hanging, but gives no care or weather-resistance details. Based on the listing details, that is not enough to assume it will withstand prolonged exposure to the elements.

How to use it

The rear hook is intended to make wall installation straightforward. Choose a spot where the cross can be seen clearly, then make sure the wall and hanging point are appropriate for a solid, heavy metal piece, the listing does not give a weight or specify a fixing method. For example, an entryway wall can give the floral design a clear focal point as you come in, while a bedroom or living room lets it sit among more personal decor. It is a wall-hung sculpture, not a freestanding ornament, so it needs a suitable place to hang.

No cleaning or maintenance instructions are supplied. For indoor use, follow the care guidance available with the item rather than assuming a particular cleaning product or method is safe for its rustic finish. If you are considering an outdoor spot, ask about exposure and upkeep first: the outdoor-decor wording does not specify whether the finish is protected against changing weather.

Practical tips

Before choosing a location, compare the stated dimensions with the wall space you have. At 14.8 x 9.6 inches, it has enough presence to read as a decorative feature, but its shallow 0.4-inch depth keeps it in the category of wall decor rather than a deep, projecting sculpture. A quick paper outline in the intended spot can help you judge how the width and height will sit beside a doorway, furniture or other wall pieces.

Think about the finish as well as the subject. Rustic white and the vine motif suit a softer, antique-inspired look, if you want a minimal cross with clean lines, a simpler design may be a closer match. It may interest you if you want a decorative religious piece with an ornate pattern and a hanging hook included. It may not be a fit if you need confirmed material specifications, a stated weight, or clear guidance for year-round outdoor use.

Buying questions

What are the dimensions? The listed measurements are 14.8 x 9.6 x 0.4 inches. The product name separately says 14.7 inches tall, so check which stated measurement is relevant to your available space.

Does it include a way to hang it? The description says there is a hook on the back. It does not specify wall fixings, so do not assume screws or other hardware are included.

Can it be used outdoors? The listing presents it as outdoor hanging decor, but does not provide weather-resistance or maintenance details. If it will be exposed to the elements, get clarification before choosing that placement.

For your situation

Choose this cross if the main draw is its ornate flower-and-vine pattern, rustic white appearance and ready-to-hang design for an indoor wall. It offers a more decorative approach than a plain cross, with the listed dimensions giving you a practical way to plan its place in an entryway, bedroom or living room. Look elsewhere if exact confirmation of cast versus wrought iron is essential, or if outdoor durability is a deciding requirement, neither point is settled by the available details.
