SUMLANS Kitchen Mats, 2-Piece Set

Where it shines

Spills around the sink and cooking area can leave a hard floor messy underfoot. This SUMLANS kitchen mat set gives you two washable, cushioned rugs to place where splashes and dropped food are most likely: one measures 17.3" x 47" and the other 17.3" x 30". The polyester surface is described as absorbent and stain-resistant, while the rubber backing is intended to help limit sliding on slick flooring.

Picture standing at the counter to prep dinner, with the longer mat underfoot and the smaller one near the sink. The pair can also add some coverage in a hallway or other busy area, though the kitchen is the clearest use case.

What matters most

The two sizes offer more flexibility than buying a single runner: you can cover separate work spots or use just the size that suits your layout. The padded surface is intended to soften standing and help shield the floor from spills, scratches and dropped dishes. It may appeal if you want a washable barrier rather than a bare floor or a decorative rug that is harder to clean.

There are limits to what the details establish. No mat thickness or cushioning level is given, so don’t assume it will replace a dedicated anti-fatigue mat for long periods of standing. The rubber backing is described as non-slip, but the listing doesn’t provide a grip rating or test conditions. Te conviene si you want two practical mats for everyday kitchen mess, No es para ti si you need specified ergonomic support or detailed evidence about grip.

Care tips

The mats are described as suitable for vacuuming, robot cleaners and machine washing. After washing, let them air-dry naturally, the care instructions specifically say not to use a dryer. That makes the set easier to maintain after routine splashes, but it still means planning for drying time rather than putting a freshly washed mat straight back on the floor. Follow the product’s care directions and avoid assuming that every cleaning method is suitable just because the surface is washable.

Para cerrar

This set makes most sense when you want two different-sized, cushioned covers for kitchen floor spots that see regular foot traffic and food spills. Choose it over a single basic mat if placing rugs at both the sink and counter would be useful. If you prioritise a clearly specified thickness, measured anti-slip performance or support for long standing sessions, the missing detail about cushioning makes it harder to judge whether these mats will meet that need. The practical decision is whether washable coverage in two sizes matters more to you than documented comfort specifications.
