## Description

For homeowners maintaining a medium-sized lawn, this Steelite corded electric mower combines an 1800W motor with a grass collection bag, so mowing and clipping collection happen in one pass.

Its 16-inch format is designed to cover ground while staying manoeuvrable around tighter areas. Six cutting-height positions let you tailor the finish to the lawn.

Prefer steady corded power over managing battery charging? The AC-powered design keeps the mower running while connected, making it a practical fit for regular lawn care.

## Best use cases

This mower is suited to routine mowing on medium-sized lawns, particularly when you want clippings collected as you work. The collection bag helps keep the cut grass together rather than leaving it spread across the lawn, and its 40 L capacity means you can focus on the job before stopping to empty it.

The six-position height adjustment adds flexibility as lawn conditions and preferred cut change through the season. A single-lever adjustment makes it straightforward to select a setting, with a stated range from 25 mm to 75 mm. For a typical mowing session, set the height to suit the lawn, mow with the bag in place, then empty the collected clippings when needed.

Compared with a battery-powered approach, this corded model is a good match for shoppers who prefer mains-powered operation and do not want mowing time to depend on recharging. Its 16-inch size balances coverage with a manageable format for working around garden spaces.

## Technical overview

- Type: Corded electric rotary lawn mower
- Power: 1800 W, AC
- Cutting width: 16 inches
- Height adjustment: 6 positions, from 25 mm to 75 mm
- Capacity: 40 L grass collection bag
- Safety features: Safety switch and cord lock
- Dimensions: 31.5 x 46 x 71 cm

The safety switch and cord lock are practical details for operation: the switch forms part of the mower’s safety design, while the lock helps secure the power cord connection. Follow the operating instructions when setting up and using the mower.

## Why it’s worth it

The appeal is a useful combination of corded power, adjustable cutting height and collection in one machine. The 1800W motor provides powered mowing without relying on a battery charge, while the bag collects clippings as you go to leave the lawn tidier. Six height settings give you more control over the cut than a fixed-height design, and the one-lever adjustment keeps changing the setting simple.

For a homeowner choosing between a mower with a collection bag and one that leaves clippings on the lawn, this model’s 40 L bag is the practical difference: it gathers the cut grass during mowing and reduces the need to rake it up afterwards. It suits you if you want a straightforward corded mower for ongoing care of a medium-sized lawn, with adjustable cutting and built-in collection.

## What to clarify

**Does this mower collect grass clippings?** Yes. It comes with a grass collection bag with a stated 40 L capacity, allowing clippings to be gathered as you mow.

**Can you change the cutting height?** Yes. The mower has six height positions, adjustable with a single lever, across a stated range of 25 mm to 75 mm.

**What powers the mower?** It uses AC corded power and has an 1800W motor. Its corded design provides powered operation while connected, rather than relying on a rechargeable mower battery.

## Buying verdict

For medium-sized lawns, the Steelite brings together the features that make regular mowing more convenient: corded 1800W power, six cutting-height settings and a 40 L grass collection bag. Choose it when you want a manoeuvrable mower that gathers clippings as it cuts and offers adjustable control for everyday lawn upkeep.
