## Description

## Spec sheet

For managing access between rooms, the Sprouterie Cat-Gate-PAR creates a tall, walk-through barrier for cats in a doorway. Its adjustable fit and pressure-mounted design make it useful for setting up a defined area at home. The two-way gate door and auto-close feature support everyday movement through the opening.

The adjustable height and width are central to choosing this gate: compare the doorway opening with the stated fit range before setting it up. The narrow bar spacing and extra-tall profile provide a physical barrier, while the double lock secures the gate door when you want to keep the passage closed. As a pressure-mounted gate, it is designed to be fitted using pressure at the opening.

## Everyday compatibility

This gate is intended for cats and is listed as suitable for all cat breeds. It can help separate rooms or keep cats out of a particular area, such as when managing access between shared spaces or keeping pets apart. The stated opening range makes it relevant for doorways that need a taller barrier than a standard-height gate provides.

The walk-through door opens in either direction, so people can pass through without removing the barrier. It also closes automatically, making it practical for a frequently used doorway where you want access to remain controlled between trips. Buyers commonly appreciate the two-way opening and latch, and some say the gate works as expected in doorways. Feedback on stability and sturdiness is mixed, so careful fitting at the opening matters for a secure setup.

Compared with a fixed barrier that requires lifting or moving to pass through, this design provides a dedicated walk-through door. It suits households that want a defined cat boundary while still using the doorway regularly.

## How to use it

Measure the doorway and compare both its height and width with the gate’s stated fit range. Position the gate within the opening according to its pressure-mounted design, then engage the double lock when the passage needs to stay closed. Use the walk-through door for routine access, it is designed to open in either direction and close automatically.

For example, the gate can separate a room where cats need to be kept apart while still allowing people to move through the doorway. Keep its intended use in mind: this is a pet gate for cats, not a child safety gate.

## Before you decide

**What doorway size does the gate fit?** Its stated range is 30.3–38.2 inches wide and 74.8–90.5 inches high. Compare your opening with both measurements when choosing a fit.

**How does the gate door open and close?** The walk-through door opens in either direction and has an auto-close feature. A double lock helps secure it when closed.

**Which pets is it designed for?** It is intended for cats and listed for all cat breeds. The product is designated for pet use only.

## Buying verdict

The Sprouterie Cat-Gate-PAR is a practical choice for cat owners who need an extra-tall, adjustable doorway barrier with a walk-through door. Its pressure-mounted format, two-way opening, auto-close and double lock make it well suited to managing room access while keeping a regular route through the doorway.
