## Description

## Product specs

Hybrid active noise cancellation uses dual microphones to detect surrounding sound and offers three listening modes: Transport, Outdoor and Indoor. Choose the mode to suit your setting, whether you’re settling in for a flight, walking near traffic or focusing in a busy office. The over-ear design, 40 mm drivers and app-based custom EQ add practical options for comfortable listening and adjusting your sound.

For wireless listening, Bluetooth 5.3 and multipoint connection make the Life Q30 a flexible choice for work and travel. Battery life is rated at up to 50 hours with noise cancellation on, or up to 80 hours in standard mode. A 3.5 mm audio jack also provides a wired listening option, active noise cancellation is not available when using an AUX cable.

The Life Q30 is suited to listeners who want noise control they can adapt to changing surroundings, along with the freedom of wireless listening. On a commute, Transport mode is designed to reduce aircraft engine noise, outdoors, the Outdoor setting targets traffic and wind, at a desk, Indoor mode helps dampen office conversation. Multipoint connection is useful when moving between compatible Bluetooth devices during a workday, while custom EQ through the app lets you adjust the sound to your preference.

If your priority is a simple pair of headphones for occasional listening, a basic wired design may suit that need. The Q30 brings together wireless convenience, multiple ANC modes and extended listening time for people who expect to use their headphones across different settings. Buyer feedback often praises the sound, noise cancellation and comfort. Fit opinions vary, and some buyers raise concerns about durability, so feedback is not uniform across these aspects.

## Getting the most from it

Select the noise-control mode that matches your surroundings, then use the app’s custom EQ to tailor your listening. For a flight, for example, Transport mode is designed to reduce engine noise while the headphones play music wirelessly. At a desk, the Indoor setting offers a different approach to reducing background conversation. When using the 3.5 mm AUX connection, plan to listen without active noise cancellation, ANC works with wireless use, not the AUX connection.

## Practical questions

**What do the three ANC modes do?** Transport is designed to minimize aircraft engine noise, Outdoor to reduce traffic and wind, and Indoor to dampen background conversation in busy offices. Select the mode that best matches your environment.

**How long can I listen between charges?** The headphones are rated for up to 50 hours in ANC mode and up to 80 hours in standard mode. Actual playtime depends on the listening mode and use.
