For someone choosing between a basic wireless pair and earbuds with active noise cancellation, the Liberty 5 Pro adds a way to reduce distractions during music or calls. The manufacturer describes the ANC as processing more than 384,000 noise signals per second, with eight sensors and the Thus AI Chip working together to help counter sounds such as subway, office and street noise. Call quality is a particular focus: ten sensors and the AI chip are designed to capture your voice and reduce background noise. The earbuds were certified by Guinness World Records for the highest objective speech-quality score (G-MOS) for TWS earbuds. Touch controls provide direct access, while 20 built-in voice commands can handle tasks such as skipping a song, taking a call or adjusting volume. Voice commands are processed offline, so they can be used without relying on an internet connection. ## Key features HearID 5.0 creates a personalized EQ curve, and the AI Audio Enhancer offers another way to tailor listening beyond a standard sound profile. Use the soundcore app to select EQ presets or set up a preference-based curve. This makes the earbuds practical for switching between calls, meetings and music while keeping your preferred sound settings close at hand. Battery life depends on how the earbuds are used. The manufacturer rates listening at up to 6.5 hours with ANC on, or up to 28 hours with the charging case, with ANC off, the stated figures are up to 12 hours and 50 hours with the case. A five-minute charge is stated to provide up to four hours of listening. The package includes ear fins in sizes 0, 1 and 2, ear tips from XXS to L, a USB-C cable and a wireless charging case, so you can choose from the supplied fit options. ## Everyday use For a commute, use ANC to help manage surrounding noise and switch to calls when needed, at a desk, Bluetooth connection supports pairing with smartphones, tablets, laptops and desktops.
