SONGMICS UGLT012E01V1 2-Step Folding Aluminium Step Stool, 150 kg

Grooved, anti-slip pedals give you a more secure foothold for everyday reach tasks around the home. The aluminium frame keeps the ladder lightweight for carrying from room to room. When the job is done, its folding design makes it easy to store in a compact space.

Quick overview

This SONGMICS two-step ladder is made for practical household jobs such as reaching high shelves, changing a light bulb, hanging framed art or tending to tall indoor plants. Its wide pedals have deep grooves for traction, while protective PP edges cover the corners. The ladder has a maximum static load capacity of 150 kg, making it a useful step up for routine tasks in the kitchen, living room or garden.

The foldable format is especially helpful when storage space is at a premium: tuck it into a narrow closet or behind a door between uses. Compared with a fixed step stool, a folding ladder offers a more space-conscious way to keep a household reaching aid close at hand. Customers also highlight its light weight, compact design and convenient folding action, alongside comments about its solid feel and stable base.

Tips for day-to-day use

Choose a flat, even surface before setting up the ladder, then open it fully and make sure it is locked into place before climbing. Keep the pedals clear while positioning it so you can step up without obstruction. Stay within the maximum static load capacity of 150 kg, and use the grooved pedals as your footholds when moving up or down.

After use, fold the ladder for storage. Its compact format is practical for homes where a full-size ladder would take up more room, while its lightweight construction makes it easier to carry between household tasks.

Usage tips

For a quick kitchen task, such as reaching a high cupboard, position the ladder on level flooring and open and lock it before stepping up. The broad, grooved pedals provide a defined place to stand, and the lightweight frame makes it convenient to move to the next task, whether that is dusting a ceiling fan or pruning an indoor plant.

It also suits occasional jobs around the garden or living space when a small, fold-away ladder is more practical than a larger ladder. Set it close to the work area rather than stretching from the steps, and make sure the ladder remains fully open and locked while in use. Once finished, fold it away to keep walkways and storage areas clear.
