The Solsop Crimper Kit 28 combines this crimping approach with cable testing in one set. It handles Cat5, Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A and Cat7 cable, as well as standard RJ11 and RJ12 connectors. The tool supports shielded and unshielded modular plugs, including pass-through plugs with metal dovetail clips. The kit also supplies Cat6 pass-through connectors and boots, so you have key components ready for home networking, office wiring and professional installations. ## What to know The pass-through design allows conductors to extend through the connector, so their order can be checked before crimping. That visible check can help reduce wiring mistakes and wasted connectors compared with terminating a cable in a standard plug that hides the wire ends. A wiring diagram on the tool provides a handy reference when arranging conductors for a straight-through cable or a crossover cable. The crimper combines cutting, stripping and crimping functions. Its adjustable modes are designed for Cat7, Cat5/6, and shielded or unshielded cable work. An ergonomic, non-slip grip and one-handed operation make it practical to keep nearby for occasional repairs as well as cable-making tasks. The listed dimensions are 27.9L x 10.2W centimetres, and the handle material is metal. The set includes the RJ45 pass-through crimp tool, network cable tester, mini wire stripper, replacement blades, 50 Cat6 pass-through connectors, 50 connector boots and a user’s manual. The tester works with cables using RJ45, RJ11 or RJ12 connectors and has a stated test range of up to 300M. It requires a 9V battery, which is not included. ## Usage tips For a new cable, arrange the conductors in the desired wiring order and use the diagram on the tool as a reference. With a pass-through connector, check the wire sequence through the plug before crimping. Choose the appropriate adjustable mode for the cable and plug type, then use the tester to check the completed cable. This workflow suits tasks such as making a custom-length connection for a home router, organizing office network runs or replacing a damaged cable end. ## Everyday use This set brings several steps of cable preparation and termination together, rather than requiring a separate crimper, tester and connector supply. That can be useful when a project involves multiple cable ends or when you want to prepare a replacement at the point of installation. The included Cat6 plugs and boots provide starting materials for common Ethernet jobs, while the tester adds a way to check RJ45, RJ11 and RJ12 cable connections. Buyer feedback highlights ease of use and the convenience of having several components in one kit. Feedback is mixed on performance, completeness and build quality, so experiences vary. The pass-through format is particularly useful when being able to see the conductor order during termination is a priority, a conventional crimper may suit someone who prefers to work with standard plugs instead. ## Questions before you buy **Which cable types can the crimper handle?** It is designed for Cat5, Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A and Cat7 cable, and for RJ11 and RJ12 connectors. It supports shielded and unshielded modular plugs, including pass-through RJ45 plugs with metal dovetail clips. **What comes in the kit?** It includes the crimp tool, a network cable tester, a mini wire stripper, replacement blades, 50 Cat6 pass-through connectors, 50 boots and a user’s manual. **What does the cable tester check?** It is intended for cables fitted with RJ45, RJ11 or RJ12 connectors, with a stated test range of up to 300M. The tester uses a 9V battery, supplied separately. ## Should you buy it? For home network projects, office cabling and hands-on installation work, the Solsop Crimper Kit 28 brings cable preparation, pass-through termination and testing into one set. Its clearest advantage is being able to inspect the conductor order before crimping, supported by the included Cat6 connectors, boots and cable tester. It’s a good fit if you want a practical kit for making or repairing network cables and value having the key tools together. ## Images ![Solsop Crimper Kit 28 RJ45 Pass-Through Crimp Tool Kit with Cable Tester — 1](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/F5UR6HeDPJ15Ujmidk3DXHdDYnqOpjDRyyyHg9QEoR39bc4BnKppz6moyILS4jCSjuIKRtCkvPBVi2CYrp_jZy4l6Fl2OChX8VZwE--eWSyEcW_NrWUaAMtrdw.jpg) ![Solsop Crimper Kit 28 RJ45 Pass-Through Crimp Tool Kit with Cable Tester — 2](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/WqKVQTGIZtZ8f3ydb4MG-N6A5Yblcc7GUylJjzq3YAtzb_bjoSfHGIdwXQmvVMJ6DM6TWMjCeXYwNX6Pkic6QW1dTH94U7Arz3anqymk2vjGPIBR9CNxCxQZSw.jpg) ![Solsop Crimper Kit 28 RJ45 Pass-Through Crimp Tool Kit with Cable Tester — 3](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/9qD9YFmnRWIJW1U1DiXWEZqQvzzWsOJiqg_C9yEjC6nJvRrNOqNfXQtZ9PQl31YqJGl8PKim8V1OEpd_1D240iupYG7wPUI6vRzjvh4rkDU3LhUfEmK6BOhjYw.jpg) ![Solsop Crimper Kit 28 RJ45 Pass-Through Crimp Tool Kit with Cable Tester — 4](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/NGStbMsqzXvfJ0vbViRa9YoRBpfOsAgG1_gpuAHdbIgdjUHLACXkb7z-cchRMy9LKSjG8FFHhiD2g6cA6ABGDOkWznFTjCdAQVbNYXrefvLXtcYKTDlMSwYDyg.jpg) ![Solsop Crimper Kit 28 RJ45 Pass-Through Crimp Tool Kit with Cable Tester — 5](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/OKh6fMbTfH8gQuVZfSVwRxQahbDMNKnlksMjmaK_qVfJ2_M9ucOJeSVZW1eBmpStZyb0Ld8F-tqRXtypc4gbMbT8V-9novNwKtml6SUr0Lg1uxCCT0SNqI50cQ.jpg)
