## Description

## Who it’s for

The screw-terminal design gives you a direct way to join wiring, while the supplied hex wrench helps with tightening the connection. This smseace set is intended for 6 AWG and 10 AWG wire, making it useful for automotive projects and industrial installations. Need a splice that also includes sleeves for added protection? The heat-shrink tubes are part of the set, ready to complement the connectors.

## Pros

Each connector has four holes and internal hex screws, so wires are secured with a screw-terminal connection rather than relying only on a crimp. The acid-washed surface is described as corrosion-resistant, a useful feature for connections that need a durable finish. The included 2:1 heat-shrink tubes add insulation and moisture protection around the joined wiring.

The set contains 10 connectors, 10 heat-shrink tubes, 20 screws and a hex wrench. That gives you the main connection hardware and a tool for tightening the screws in one package. For a project with several joins, having multiple connectors and matching sleeves together can make parts planning more straightforward. Compared with a basic splice connector, this set’s screw-terminal format and supplied wrench suit jobs where you want to fasten the wire with internal hex screws.

## Before you decide

What wire sizes can these connectors be used with? They are listed for 6 AWG and 10 AWG wire, so select the size that matches the wiring in your project.

How are the wires fastened? The connectors use internal hex screws. The supplied hex wrench is intended for tightening them, giving you the matching tool for this part of the installation.

What do the heat-shrink tubes add? The set includes 10 tubes with a 2:1 shrink ratio. They provide additional insulation and moisture protection around the connections when used as part of the wiring job.

## Should you buy it?

Choose the CAD-085 set when your project calls for screw-terminal splices for 6 AWG or 10 AWG wiring, with an 80 A rating and heat-shrink sleeves for added protection. Its 10 connectors, matching tubes, screws and hex wrench make it a practical fit for automotive or industrial wiring work involving multiple connections.
