The undermount format places the sink below the countertop, creating a continuous counter edge around the basin. That layout suits a streamlined vanity and makes it practical to move surface water toward the basin when tidying the counter. The oval bowl pairs a classic curved shape with a glossy white surface, while the rear drain position aligns with the faucet spout and helps preserve storage space beneath the sink.
The sink has no faucet holes, so plan for a wall-mounted or counter-mounted faucet. Its standard 1-3/4” drain opening works with most pull-up and pop-up drains. The built-in overflow offers an additional route for water, while remaining out of sight from the front of the vanity.
Tips for day-to-day use
For a new vanity installation, use the sink’s actual dimensions to plan the countertop opening. The stated dimensions can vary by 1/4” (6mm) because of the manufacturing process and manual measurement, so fitting the cutout to the sink on hand helps achieve a suitable installation. The sink is intended for undermount installation, use the included mounting hardware and pair it with a wall- or counter-mounted faucet.
For routine care, clean the glazed surface with mild soap and water, then dry it after use. Avoid abrasive cleaners to care for the smooth finish. In a daily-use bathroom, these simple steps help keep the basin looking neat without requiring a complicated cleaning routine.
What you get
The package includes the bathroom sink and mounting hardware for installation. The drain assembly is not included, so select a compatible assembly for the 1-3/4” opening. This makes it easier to coordinate the drain with the rest of the vanity fittings, while the sink itself provides the basin, overflow and finished white surface.
Final verdict
The SmartSylva SS02-T143-WH is a practical fit for a vanity project that calls for an oval, white ceramic basin with an undermount profile. Its 15-1/4” x 12” interior, concealed front overflow and rear-positioned drain suit a clean, functional bathroom layout. Choose it when you want the counter to frame the sink rather than sit around a raised rim, and plan the faucet and drain around its installation design.
