## Description

Some outdoor spaces need a solid barrier, others benefit from weather protection that still lets daylight through. This clear Sinessy tarp is made for the second need. Its transparent PVC vinyl suits patio enclosures, greenhouse covers and chicken-run windbreaks. Reinforced edges and regularly spaced grommets make it practical to secure around an outdoor area.

## What to know

The clear 14 mil vinyl allows light through while helping shield a space from wind, cold and water. UV resistance adds protection for outdoor use, and the material is designed to resist temperatures as low as -32°F. For a greenhouse or covered porch, transparency can help preserve a brighter feel than a fully opaque covering while providing a barrier from the elements.

All four sides are heat-sealed and folded, with poly rope sewn into the hem. Reinforced corners and aluminium eyelets support tie-down points around the perimeter. The tarp is also described as tear-resistant, with a fabric weight of 450 grams per square metre. Buyer feedback often praises its clarity and substantial feel, and some mention using it for DIY mini greenhouses. Experiences with durability and sizing vary, and some buyers note visible wrinkles, so feedback is best treated as individual experience rather than a guarantee.

## Size & fit

This tarp measures 3 x 6 ft (0.9 x 1.8 m), with listed dimensions of 180L x 90W centimetres. Eyelets are spaced every 50 centimetres along the edges, including at all four corners, giving you several points for attaching rope or bungee cords. The compact rectangular format can work for a defined section of a porch, a small greenhouse cover or a chicken-run windbreak, measure the area you plan to cover and allow for the tarp’s tie-down points when positioning it.

## How to use it

Use the included rope or bungee cords to fasten the eyelets to a suitable support. For a patio enclosure, the transparent panel can help keep wind and rain out while retaining natural light. For a greenhouse cover or outdoor project shelter, secure the edges evenly so the covering sits in place. Leaving small gaps for airflow can help reduce condensation underneath. To clean the vinyl, use a soft cloth and mild soap, store it flat or rolled when it is not in use. Keep the tarp away from open flames, as it is not fire-resistant.

## Questions before you buy

**Does the tarp let natural light through?** Yes. Its clear PVC vinyl is transparent, making it useful where you want a protective covering without blocking the view and daylight.

**How can it be tied down?** Aluminium eyelets run along all edges at 50-centimetre intervals, with additional eyelets at the corners. Use the supplied rope or bungee cords to attach it to a suitable support.

**How should it be cleaned and aired?** Wipe it with a soft cloth and mild soap. Leave small gaps for airflow during use to help reduce condensation.

## Buying verdict

For a small outdoor area where light and visibility matter alongside weather protection, this clear 3 x 6 ft tarp brings together transparent vinyl, UV and water resistance, reinforced edges and practical tie-down points. It’s suited to covering a patio section, greenhouse area or chicken run, with the included rope ready for securing the tarp in place.
