## Description

For households looking to clean both carpets and hard floors without being tethered to an outlet, the Shark PowerLite BU1621C brings cordless convenience together with features designed for everyday pick-ups. FloorDetect adjusts brushroll speed to suit the floor, while the self-cleaning brushroll helps lift pet hair as you clean.

Its lightweight stick design converts to a removable hand vacuum for furniture, countertops and tighter spaces.

## Highlights

FloorDetect automatically adjusts brushroll speed across carpets and hard floors, so moving from one surface to another is straightforward. The self-cleaning, anti-hair-wrap brushroll is designed to remove pet hair during cleaning, making this a practical choice for homes where fur is part of the daily routine. LED headlights illuminate dust and debris under furniture and along edges, helping bring hidden messes into view as you work.

Choose ECO, AUTO or BOOST using the LED display to match the cleaning mode to the task. The cordless vacuum offers up to 40 minutes of runtime in ECO mode, measured at the hand vacuum with a non-motorized tool. Its removable hand vacuum adds flexibility for smaller jobs, while the included crevice tool and upholstery tool help reach narrow spaces and clean soft furnishings.

## Who it’s for

This model suits people who want one cordless vacuum for regular floor care and quick above-floor cleanups. It is recommended for use on all floors, and the listed uses include beds, cars and pet hair. At 2.8 kg, it has a lightweight design for grab-and-go cleaning, its Storm Cloud colour and stick format keep the setup simple to store and bring out when needed.

## Everyday use

Use it as a stick vacuum for floor cleaning, then detach the hand vacuum to tackle crumbs on a countertop, dust on furniture or debris in a car. Need to reach beneath furniture or along an edge? The LED headlights make those areas easier to inspect while cleaning. For a carpet-to-hard-floor route through the home, FloorDetect adjusts brushroll speed automatically, while the three modes let you select ECO, AUTO or BOOST for the job at hand.

Compared with choosing a corded setup for routine floors and a separate handheld for smaller messes, the PowerLite combines stick and hand-vacuum use in one cordless design. The crevice and upholstery tools add useful options for focused cleaning without changing the main vacuum.

## Practical questions

**How long can it run on one charge?** It offers up to 40 minutes in ECO mode. That figure is measured using the hand vacuum with a non-motorized tool, so it describes that specific setup.

**Does it adjust when moving between floor types?** Yes. FloorDetect detects the floor type and automatically adjusts brushroll speed for carpets and hard floors.

**What accessories are included?** The listed accessories are a crevice tool and an upholstery tool. They support cleaning in narrow spaces and on upholstered surfaces.

## Final verdict

The Shark PowerLite BU1621C is a useful fit for everyday cleaning across carpets and hard floors, especially when cordless movement and quick above-floor cleanups matter. FloorDetect, the pet-hair-focused self-cleaning brushroll and the detachable hand vacuum give it a clear role as a flexible, grab-and-go cleaner for routine home and car tasks.
