Sennheiser wireless headphones, 60-hour battery

Key points

Long journeys, busy commutes and shared workspaces can make it hard to focus on what you’re listening to. The Sennheiser MOMENTUM 4 Wireless is designed to help, pairing adaptive noise cancellation with a transparency mode so you can reduce surrounding noise or stay more aware of it when needed. Its stated battery life is up to 60 hours, with fast charging also listed.

The sound setup includes 42 mm transducers and aptX Adaptive. You can also adjust the listening profile in the Smart Control Plus app, using its equalizer, presets and sound modes for music, podcasts or gaming. That gives you more control than a basic pair of wireless headphones, though the listing doesn’t provide details such as water resistance, so it’s difficult to judge their suitability for wet-weather use.

How to use it

Choose noise cancellation when you want fewer distractions on a train or while working, then switch to transparency when you need to hear more of what’s happening around you. In the app, you can shape the sound to suit a podcast or make a music profile of your own. The listed app features also include an ANC toggle and an option to turn off the touchpad.

Keep in mind that the advertised battery figure is stated as “up to” 60 hours, the product details don’t explain how listening settings affect runtime. If you rely on long sessions away from a charger, that’s worth factoring into your expectations rather than treating the maximum as guaranteed in every use case.

Practical tips

For a commute, you could use noise cancellation during the ride, then switch to transparency before stepping into a busier station. The headphones are described as lightweight and foldable, and the package includes a carry case for storing them between trips. For calls, four digital beamforming microphones are listed, along with wind-noise suppression and access to a voice assistant.

The box also includes a USB-C charging cable, a 3.5 mm to 2.5 mm audio cable and an airplane adapter. Those extras give you options for charging and for situations where a wired connection or aircraft adapter is useful. If you prefer not to use an app to tune sound, the adjustable listening profiles may matter less to you, the ANC and transparency controls are still central to the product’s appeal.

In your case

It’s a good fit if you want over-ear wireless headphones for travel or everyday listening and value adjustable noise control, sound personalisation and a long stated battery life. Compared with simpler headphones that focus on playback alone, this model adds ANC, transparency and app-based tuning. If clear call pickup is also on your list, the four-microphone setup is a relevant feature, although the listing doesn’t give call-performance results.

It may not suit you if you need confirmed protection from rain or want product details on fit and dimensions before buying, those specifics aren’t provided here. Consider whether you’ll use the app, listening modes and included accessories, rather than choosing on battery life alone.
